他们必说：‘这先前为荒废之地，现在成如伊甸园；这荒废凄凉、毁坏的城邑现在坚固有人居住。’那时，在你们四围其余的外邦人必知道我耶和华修造那毁坏之处，培植那荒废之地。我耶和华说过，也必成就。

你必起来怜恤锡安，因现在是可怜她的时候，日期已经到了。

耶和华如此说：“你们论这地方，说是荒废无人民无牲畜之地，但在这荒凉无人民无牲畜的犹大城邑和耶路撒冷的街上，必再听见有欢喜和快乐的声音、新郎和新妇的声音，并听见有人说：‘要称谢万军之耶和华，因耶和华本为善；他的慈爱永远长存！’又有奉感谢祭到耶和华殿中之人的声音；因为我必使这地被掳的人归回，和起初一样。这是耶和华说的。”

可怎样回答外邦的使者呢？必说：“耶和华建立了锡安；他百姓中的困苦人必投奔在其中。”

“在锡安山必有逃脱的人，那山也必成圣；雅各家必得原有的产业。

因为耶和华建造了锡安，在他荣耀里显现。

耶路撒冷啊，你要颂赞耶和华！锡安哪，你要赞美你的神！因为他坚固了你的门闩，赐福给你中间的儿女。

我又观看，见羔羊站在锡安山，同他又有十四万四千人，都有他的名和他父的名写在额上。
