You visit the earth, and water it. You greatly enrich it. The river of God is full of water. You provide them grain, for so you have ordained it.

You care for the land and water it; you enrich it abundantly. The streams of God are filled with water to provide the people with grain, for so you have ordained it.

You take care of the land and water it. You make it able to grow many crops. You fill your streams with water. You do that to provide the people with grain. That’s what you have decided to do for the land.

Are there any among the vanities of the nations that can cause rain? Or can the sky give showers? Aren’t you he, Yahweh our God? Therefore we will wait for you; for you have made all these things.

For he says to the snow,‘ Fall on the earth,’ likewise to the shower of rain, and to the showers of his mighty rain.He seals up the hand of every man, that all men whom he has made may know it.Then the animals take cover, and remain in their dens.Out of its room comes the storm, and cold out of the north.By the breath of God, ice is given, and the width of the waters is frozen.Yes, he loads the thick cloud with moisture. He spreads abroad the cloud of his lightning.It is turned around by his guidance, that they may do whatever he commands them on the surface of the habitable world,Whether it is for correction, or for his land, or for loving kindness, that he causes it to come.

Yet he didn’t leave himself without witness, in that he did good and gave you rains from the sky and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.”

He makes peace in your borders. He fills you with the finest of the wheat.

“ Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in Yahweh, your God; for he gives you the early rain in just measure, and he causes the rain to come down for you, the early rain and the latter rain, as before.The threshing floors will be full of wheat, and the vats will overflow with new wine and oil.I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I sent among you.You will have plenty to eat, and be satisfied, and will praise the name of Yahweh, your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; and my people will never again be disappointed.

who gives rain on the earth, and sends waters on the fields;so that he sets up on high those who are low, those who mourn are exalted to safety.

who covers the sky with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who makes grass grow on the mountains.He provides food for the livestock, and for the young ravens when they call.

but the land that you go over to possess is a land of hills and valleys which drinks water from the rain of the sky,a land which Yahweh your God cares for. Yahweh your God’s eyes are always on it, from the beginning of the year even to the end of the year.

You crown the year with your bounty. Your carts overflow with abundance.

Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year one hundred times what he planted. Yahweh blessed him.
