[ By] terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation;[ who art] the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off[ upon] the sea:

You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds, God our Savior, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas,

God our Savior, you answer us with right and wonderful deeds. People all over the world and beyond the farthest oceans put their hope in you.

By awesome deeds you answer us with righteousness, O God of our salvation, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas;

You faithfully answer our prayers with awesome deeds, O God our savior. You are the hope of everyone on earth, even those who sail on distant seas.

You answer our prayers by performing awesome acts of deliverance, O God, our savior. All the ends of the earth trust in you, as well as those living across the wide seas.

By awesome deeds of righteousness, you answer us, God of our salvation. You who are the hope of all the ends of the earth, of those who are far away on the sea.

He[ is] thy praise, and he[ is] thy God, that hath done for thee these great and terrible things, which thine eyes have seen.

But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness[ and] righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.

Say unto God, How terrible[ art thou in] thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.

All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

The LORD[ will be] terrible unto them: for he will famish all the gods of the earth; and[ men] shall worship him, every one from his place,[ even] all the isles of the heathen.

Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I[ am] God, and[ there is] none else.

And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.

There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.Thou[ art] more glorious[ and] excellent than the mountains of prey.The stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands.At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.Thou,[ even] thou,[ art] to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;

And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous[ are] thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true[ are] thy ways, thou King of saints.Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for[ thou] only[ art] holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

Blessed[ be] the Lord,[ who] daily loadeth us[ with benefits, even] the God of our salvation. Selah.[ He that is] our God[ is] the God of salvation; and unto GOD the Lord[ belong] the issues from death.

The LORD[ is] righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

For the LORD most high[ is] terrible;[ he is] a great King over all the earth.He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.

And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion[ shall be] from sea[ even] to sea, and from the river[ even] to the ends of the earth.

And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations,[ to] Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow,[ to] Tubal, and Javan,[ to] the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.

And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:For true and righteous[ are] his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.

And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.

Then the angel of the LORD went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they[ were] all dead corpses.

My righteousness[ is] near; my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall they trust.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway,[ even] unto the end of the world. Amen.

Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.

Or hath God assayed to go[ and] take him a nation from the midst of[ another] nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?

Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.
