Out of the depths I have cried to you, Yahweh.Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions.

Yahweh, I have called on you. Come to me quickly! Listen to my voice when I call to you.

For I have heard the slander of many, terror on every side, while they conspire together against me, they plot to take away my life.But I trust in you, Yahweh. I said,“ You are my God.”My times are in your hand. Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me.

My enemies want to swallow me up all day long, for they are many who fight proudly against me.When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.In God, I praise his word. In God, I put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?

Hear my prayer, Yahweh. Listen to my petitions. In your faithfulness and righteousness, relieve me.Don’t enter into judgment with your servant, for in your sight no man living is righteous.For the enemy pursues my soul. He has struck my life down to the ground. He has made me live in dark places, as those who have been long dead.

Hear, Yahweh, when I cry with my voice. Have mercy also on me, and answer me.

The Lord said to Paul in the night by a vision,“ Don’t be afraid, but speak and don’t be silent;for I am with you, and no one will attack you to harm you, for I have many people in this city.”

Keep me as the apple of your eye. Hide me under the shadow of your wings,from the wicked who oppress me, my deadly enemies, who surround me.

I called on your name, Yahweh, out of the lowest dungeon.You heard my voice:“ Don’t hide your ear from my sighing, and my cry.”

I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.
