口出惡言、唇如利刃、自言何人聽聞、

群犬晚歸兮。舉狺狺而吠予。

See what they spew from their mouths— the words from their lips are sharp as swords, and they think,“ Who can hear us?”

Listen to what pours out of their mouths. The words from their lips are like swords. They think,“ Who can hear us?”

There they are, bellowing with their mouths with swords in their lips— for“ Who,” they think,“ will hear us?”

Listen to the filth that comes from their mouths; their words cut like swords.“ After all, who can hear us?” they sneer.

Look, they spew from their mouths— sharp words from their lips.“ For who,” they say,“ will hear?”

Behold, they gush forth with their mouths; Swords are in their lips, For, they say,“ Who hears?”

Behold, they belch out with their mouth; Swords are in their lips: For who, say they, doth hear?

Look, they spew from their mouths— sharp words from their lips.“ For who,” they say,“ will hear?”

Look, they hurl insults at me and openly threaten to kill me, for they say,“ Who hears?”

“ Have you not considered what these people have spoken, saying,‘ The two families which the Lord has chosen, He has also cast them off’? Thus they have despised My people, as if they should no more be a nation before them.

Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful Have opened against me; They have spoken against me with a lying tongue.They have also surrounded me with words of hatred, And fought against me without a cause.

The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, But war was in his heart; His words were softer than oil, Yet they were drawn swords.

Why do the wicked renounce God? He has said in his heart,“ You will not require an account.”

The heart of the righteous studies how to answer, But the mouth of the wicked pours forth evil.

Yet they say,“ The Lord does not see, Nor does the God of Jacob understand.”Understand, you senseless among the people; And you fools, when will you be wise?He who planted the ear, shall He not hear? He who formed the eye, shall He not see?

“ Is not God in the height of heaven? And see the highest stars, how lofty they are!And you say,‘ What does God know? Can He judge through the deep darkness?

Who sharpen their tongue like a sword, And bend their bows to shoot their arrows— bitter words,That they may shoot in secret at the blameless; Suddenly they shoot at him and do not fear.They encourage themselves in an evil matter; They talk of laying snares secretly; They say,“ Who will see them?”
