You, Lord God Almighty, you who are the God of Israel, rouse yourself to punish all the nations; show no mercy to wicked traitors.

If anyone does not repent, he will sharpen his sword; he has strung his bow and made it ready.He has prepared his deadly weapons; he tips his arrows with fire.

But if a wicked person turns from the wickedness he has committed and does what is just and right, he will preserve his life.He will certainly live because he thought it over and turned from all the transgressions he had committed; he will not die.

Hear the word of the LORD, you rulers of Sodom! Listen to the instruction of our God, you people of Gomorrah!

Israelites, are you not like the Cushites to me? This is the LORD’s declaration. Didn’t I bring Israel from the land of Egypt, the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Arameans from Kir?

For judgment is without mercy to the one who has not shown mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

Now it is not as though the word of God has failed, because not all who are descended from Israel are Israel.

And he set up an altar there and called it God, the God of Israel.

For a person is not a Jew who is one outwardly, and true circumcision is not something visible in the flesh.On the contrary, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is of the heart— by the Spirit, not the letter. That person’s praise is not from people but from God.

The nations have fallen into the pit they made; their foot is caught in the net they have concealed.

When its branches dry out, they will be broken off. Women will come and make fires with them, for they are not a people with understanding. Therefore their Maker will not have compassion on them, and their Creator will not be gracious to them.

Let death take them by surprise; let them go down to Sheol alive, because evil is in their homes and within them.

But you, LORD, know all their deadly plots against me. Do not wipe out their iniquity; do not blot out their sin before you. Let them be forced to stumble before you; deal with them in the time of your anger.

LORD God of Armies, hear my prayer; listen, God of Jacob. Selah

Do not bow in worship to them, and do not serve them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, bringing the consequences of the fathers’ iniquity on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate me,

LORD God of Armies, how long will you be angry with your people’s prayers?

For strangers rise up against me, and violent men intend to kill me. They do not let God guide them. Selah

God also said to Moses,“ Say this to the Israelites: The LORD, the God of your ancestors, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is my name forever; this is how I am to be remembered in every generation.
