且盡拭其淚、死不復有、哀也泣也苦也、亦不復有、蓋前事已逝矣、

爾中誰畏耶和華、而聽其僕之聲乎、行於幽暗、不得光明者、宜恃耶和華名、賴其上帝、

居於至高者之密所、必恆在全能者之蔭下兮、

兄弟乎、取奉主名而言之諸先知、為受苦恆忍之模範、恆忍者、謂之有福、約伯之忍、爾聞之矣、主究竟如何、爾見之矣、蓋主極其慈悲矜恤也、○

求爾以爾慈惠慰我、依諭爾僕之言兮、願爾恩寵臨我、俾我生存、爾律為我所悅兮、

對曰、我主乎、爾自知之、曰、此乃出乎大難而來、曾以羔之血滌其衣而白之矣、

當吻厥子、免其震怒、爾亡於路、蓋其怒必速發、託庇於彼者、其有福兮、

爾以耶和華為避所、以至高者為居所、

恃耶和華者、有若郇山、永立不動兮、

惟我賴爾恩寵、樂爾拯救兮、

我揚聲呼籲耶和華、揚聲懇求耶和華兮、

若非減其日、則無得救者、但為選民故、其日將減耳、

我上帝歟、援我於仇敵、置我於崇高、脫諸起而攻我者兮、

歷時無幾、我息怒於爾、則遷怒而滅之、

世人歟、爾緘口豈公義、鞫人豈正直乎、

大衛去彼、遁於亞杜蘭穴、其兄弟及父全家聞之、咸來相就、

至途間之羊牢、有穴在焉、掃羅入而遺矢、時、大衛與從者居穴深處、

我誠語汝、爾將哭而哀、世將喜、爾將憂、然爾憂必易為樂也、

後大衛亦起出穴、呼掃羅曰、我主、我王、掃羅回顧、大衛伏地而拜、
