Because they are bent on violence, do not let them escape! In your anger bring down the nations, O God!

他们岂能因罪孽逃脱吗？神啊，求你在怒中使众民堕落！

他们岂能脱罪呢？上帝啊，求你在怒中使万民败落！

他们岂能脱罪呢？神啊，求你在怒中使万民败落！

上帝啊，不要让这些作恶的人逃脱，求你在怒中毁灭他们。

愿他们因罪孽的缘故不能逃脱；神啊！愿你在怒中使这些人败落。

他们既有这些罪，难道还能逃脱吗？神哪，求你在怒气中使这民众败落！

他們豈能因罪孽逃脫嗎？神啊，求你在怒中使眾民墮落！

他們豈能脫罪呢？上帝啊，求你在怒中使萬民敗落！

他們豈能脫罪呢？神啊，求你在怒中使萬民敗落！

上帝啊，不要讓這些作惡的人逃脫，求你在怒中毀滅他們。

願他們因罪孽的緣故不能逃脫；神啊！願你在怒中使這些人敗落。

願你因他們的罪孽也照樣將報應秤給他們。上帝啊，願你以震怒、使別族之民敗落。

他們既有這些罪，難道還能逃脫嗎？神哪，求你在怒氣中使這民眾敗落！

恃惡豈能免罰、上帝歟、尚其發怒、傾覆斯族兮、

彼惟作惡、曷能逭罰、上帝兮、怒責斯民、使之隕墜。

彼眾作惡、豈能逃脫、求天主震怒、使此民墮落、

鳩眾埋伏。窺我蹤跡。處心積慮。欲褫我魄。

Because of their wickedness do not let them escape; in your anger, God, bring the nations down.

Because they are so evil, make sure you don’t let them escape. God, bring down the nations in your anger.

For their crime will they escape? In wrath cast down the peoples, O God!

Don’t let them get away with their wickedness; in your anger, O God, bring them down.

Will they escape in spite of such sin? God, bring down the nations in wrath.

Because of their wickedness, will there be an escape for them? In anger make the peoples fall down, God!

Shall they escape by iniquity? In anger cast down the peoples, O God!

Shall they escape by iniquity? In anger cast down the peoples, O God.

Will they escape in spite of such sin? God, bring down the nations in wrath.

Shall they escape by iniquity? in[ thine] anger cast down the people, O God.

Shall they escape by iniquity? In anger cast down the peoples, God.

But you, O God, will bring them down to the deep Pit. Violent and deceitful people will not live even half a normal lifespan. But as for me, I trust in you.

Then you come and stand in my presence in this temple I have claimed as my own and say,“ We are safe!” You think you are so safe that you go on doing all those hateful sins!

May death destroy them! May they go down alive into Sheol! For evil is in their dwelling place and in their midst.

Then I said,“ LORD, pay attention to me. Listen to what my enemies are saying.Should good be paid back with evil? Yet they are virtually digging a pit to kill me. Just remember how I stood before you pleading on their behalf to keep you from venting your anger on them.So let their children die of starvation. Let them be cut down by the sword. Let their wives lose their husbands and children. Let the older men die of disease and the younger men die by the sword in battle.Let cries of terror be heard in their houses when you send bands of raiders unexpectedly to plunder them. For they have virtually dug a pit to capture me and have hidden traps for me to step into.But you, LORD, know all their plots to kill me. Do not pardon their crimes! Do not ignore their sins as though you had erased them! Let them be brought down in defeat before you! Deal with them while you are still angry!

Vent your anger on the nations that do not acknowledge you. Vent it on the peoples who do not worship you. For they have destroyed the people of Jacob. They have completely destroyed them and left their homeland in utter ruin.

For you say,“ We have made a treaty with death, with Sheol we have made an agreement. When the overwhelming judgment sweeps by it will not reach us. For we have made a lie our refuge, we have hidden ourselves in a deceitful word.”

Confuse them, O Lord! Frustrate their plans! For I see violence and conflict in the city.

You are too just to tolerate evil; you are unable to condone wrongdoing. So why do you put up with such treacherous people? Why do you say nothing when the wicked devour those more righteous than they are?

Just as no one has power over the wind to restrain it, so no one has power over the day of his death. Just as no one can be discharged during the battle, so wickedness cannot rescue the wicked.

I can see the evildoers! They have fallen! They have been knocked down and are unable to get up!

Cruel rulers are not your allies, those who make oppressive laws.They conspire against the blameless, and condemn to death the innocent.
