蓋爾拯我魂於死亡、豈不佑我足、不至顚蹶、俾我行於生命光中、在上帝前兮、

昔蒙爾援余於死亡、今求爾免余於傾跌、俾我享有生之福、崇事爾兮。

因主從死中救我生命、保祐我免於傾跌、使我在生命光中、奉事天主、

平生宿願。何以償之。中心藏之。何目忘之。誓將主德。宣而揚之。

For you have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.

You have saved me from the darkness of death. You have kept me from tripping and falling. Now I can live with you in the light of life.

For you have delivered my soul from death, yes, my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.

For you have rescued me from death; you have kept my feet from slipping. So now I can walk in your presence, O God, in your life giving light.

and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus our deliverer from the coming wrath.

If I say,“ My foot is slipping,” your loyal love, O LORD, supports me.

for you were at one time darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of the light–for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth–trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.For the things they do in secret are shameful even to mention.But all things being exposed by the light are made evident.For everything made evident is light, and for this reason it says:“ Awake, O sleeper! The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God lights it up, and its lamp is the Lamb.The nations will walk by its light and the kings of the earth will bring their grandeur into it.

But God will rescue my life from the power of Sheol; certainly he will pull me to safety.( Selah)

He delivered us from so great a risk of death, and he will deliver us. We have set our hope on him that he will deliver us yet again,
