Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, you who are God my Savior, and my tongue will sing of your righteousness.

You are the God who saves me. I have committed murder. God, take away my guilt. Then my tongue will sing about how right you are no matter what you do.

Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, O God of my salvation, and my tongue will sing aloud of your righteousness.

I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever.For great is your love toward me; you have delivered me from the depths, from the realm of the dead. (niv)

Therefore, I declare to you today that I am innocent of the blood of any of you. (niv)
