for every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills.

Every animal in the forest already belongs to me. And so do the cattle on a thousand hills.

You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet,All sheep and oxen— Even the beasts of the field,The birds of the air, And the fish of the sea That pass through the paths of the seas.

And should I not pity Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than one hundred and twenty thousand persons who cannot discern between their right hand and their left— and much livestock?”

‘ I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are on the ground, by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and have given it to whom it seemed proper to Me.And now I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, My servant; and the beasts of the field I have also given him to serve him.

O Lord, how manifold are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all. The earth is full of Your possessions—This great and wide sea, In which are innumerable teeming things, Living things both small and great.

Bring out with you every living thing of all flesh that is with you: birds and cattle and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, so that they may abound on the earth, and be fruitful and multiply on the earth.”

and wherever the children of men dwell, or the beasts of the field and the birds of the heaven, He has given them into your hand, and has made you ruler over them all— you are this head of gold.

Then God said,“ Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind”; and it was so.And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be on every beast of the earth, on every bird of the air, on all that move on the earth, and on all the fish of the sea. They are given into your hand.Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. I have given you all things, even as the green herbs.

“ Look now at the behemoth, which I made along with you; He eats grass like an ox.See now, his strength is in his hips, And his power is in his stomach muscles.He moves his tail like a cedar; The sinews of his thighs are tightly knit.His bones are like beams of bronze, His ribs like bars of iron.He is the first of the ways of God; Only He who made him can bring near His sword.Surely the mountains yield food for him, And all the beasts of the field play there.He lies under the lotus trees, In a covert of reeds and marsh.The lotus trees cover him with their shade; The willows by the brook surround him.Indeed the river may rage, Yet he is not disturbed; He is confident, though the Jordan gushes into his mouth,Though he takes it in his eyes, Or one pierces his nose with a snare.

Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name.

But who am I, and who are my people, That we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from You, And of Your own we have given You.For we are aliens and pilgrims before You, As were all our fathers; Our days on earth are as a shadow, And without hope.“ O Lord our God, all this abundance that we have prepared to build You a house for Your holy name is from Your hand, and is all Your own.

So God has taken away the livestock of your father and given them to me.

He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, And vegetation for the service of man, That he may bring forth food from the earth,
