They are like sheep and are destined to die; death will be their shepherd( but the upright will prevail over them in the morning). Their forms will decay in the grave, far from their princely mansions.

定期既屆、爾將蹂躪、惡徒踐於足下有若泥沙、

迨亙古不易、至上之主至、為其聖民伸冤、屆期、以國賜之、

豈不知聖徒將以鞫世、世且為爾鞫、而謂不當鞫小事乎、

我知爾必致我於死、入億兆當歸之窀穸。

亢陽酷暑、雪水漸消、惡者之入墓、亦若是。其逝世之易、如摧枯木、既歸槁壤、蚯蚓嘬之、即心腹之人、亦不之念、

爾罰人罪、其所珍貴者悉廢之、如衣被蠧兮、凡此世人、實則氣而已。

俾爾在我國、飲食於我席、居位審以色列十二支派焉、

如經云、我緣主終日見殺、如羊就死地、

異邦之民、不敬上帝、為惡之徒必歸暗府兮、

其怒不過俄頃、彼加予恩、藉以得生、雖夤夜而哭泣、朝來則有歡聲兮、

散處於異邦、見噬若群羊兮、

我見數位居之者得以鞫人、昔有不拜獸、及獸像、其顙其手不受印誌、為耶穌言、及上帝道、見殺復生、與基督乘權一千年、此復生之先也、其有死未復生者、必遲至千年、

顯庸之人、閱歷未深、而早沒世。

要皆長眠黃土、蚯蚓盤其上。

如有勝敵、終守我命者、我將畀以權、使制異邦、叩以鐵杖、毀之如陶器、

惟至上者之聖民、將獲其國、永世靡暨。

其在世也、為樂靡涯、其逝世也、患疾不久、

我必黽勉以從耶和華之道、彼之祐我、若晨光之朗耀、若春雨之潤澤。

我享綏安之時、自謂壽齡將絕、必臨窀穸、不得在世、瞻望耶和華、一入陰府、不見我同人、

別無所望、惟以墓為室、長眠地下。與朽腐為鄰、與蚯蚓同處、奚啻父母姊妹、

人本摶土所為、死則返本、人之魂靈為上帝所賦畀、死則歸乎上帝。○

耶和華與、爾鑒察予、知予中心信從、惟彼作惡者流、爾其牽之、若羊置於死地。

彼使異邦之民、咸來歸附、伏予足下兮。
