O God, we meditate on your unfailing love as we worship in your Temple.

Within your temple, O God, we meditate on your unfailing love.

God, inside your temple we think about your faithful love.

We have thought on your steadfast love, O God, in the midst of your temple.

God, within your temple, we contemplate your faithful love.

We have thought over Your goodness, God, In the midst of Your temple.

We have thought, O God, on Your lovingkindness, In the midst of Your temple.

We have thought on thy lovingkindness, O God, In the midst of thy temple.

God, within Your temple, we contemplate Your faithful love.

We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.

We reflect on your loyal love, O God, within your temple.

We have thought about your loving kindness, God, in the middle of your temple.

For I am always aware of your unfailing love, and I have lived according to your truth.

I have not kept the good news of your justice hidden in my heart; I have talked about your faithfulness and saving power. I have told everyone in the great assembly of your unfailing love and faithfulness.

I have seen you in your sanctuary and gazed upon your power and glory.Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you!

Jehoshaphat stood before the community of Judah and Jerusalem in front of the new courtyard at the Temple of the Lord.He prayed,“ O Lord, God of our ancestors, you alone are the God who is in heaven. You are ruler of all the kingdoms of the earth. You are powerful and mighty; no one can stand against you!O our God, did you not drive out those who lived in this land when your people Israel arrived? And did you not give this land forever to the descendants of your friend Abraham?Your people settled here and built this Temple to honor your name.They said,‘ Whenever we are faced with any calamity such as war, plague, or famine, we can come to stand in your presence before this Temple where your name is honored. We can cry out to you to save us, and you will hear us and rescue us.’“ And now see what the armies of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir are doing. You would not let our ancestors invade those nations when Israel left Egypt, so they went around them and did not destroy them.Now see how they reward us! For they have come to throw us out of your land, which you gave us as an inheritance.O our God, won’t you stop them? We are powerless against this mighty army that is about to attack us. We do not know what to do, but we are looking to you for help.”As all the men of Judah stood before the Lord with their little ones, wives, and children,

And I said,“ This is my fate; the Most High has turned his hand against me.”But then I recall all you have done, O Lord; I remember your wonderful deeds of long ago.They are constantly in my thoughts. I cannot stop thinking about your mighty works.O God, your ways are holy. Is there any god as mighty as you?You are the God of great wonders! You demonstrate your awesome power among the nations.

He took some bread and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying,“ This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”After supper he took another cup of wine and said,“ This cup is the new covenant between God and his people— an agreement confirmed with my blood, which is poured out as a sacrifice for you.

Take me with you; come, let’s run! The king has brought me into his bedroom. How happy we are for you, O king. We praise your love even more than wine. How right they are to adore you.

Lord, we show our trust in you by obeying your laws; our heart’s desire is to glorify your name.

May all my thoughts be pleasing to him, for I rejoice in the Lord.

Remember the wonders he has performed, his miracles, and the rulings he has given,you children of his servant Abraham, you descendants of Jacob, his chosen ones.
