祂必在各国施行审判，为列邦平息纷争。他们必将刀剑打成犁头，把矛枪制成镰刀。国与国不再刀兵相见，人们不用再学习战事。

耶和华说：“到那日，我要消灭你们的战马，毁坏你们的战车。

你国中再没有暴力，境内再没有破坏和毁灭的事；你必给你的城墙取名叫‘拯救’，给你的城门取名叫‘赞美’。

在我的整个圣山上，它们都不伤人、不害物。认识耶和华的人必充满天下，就像水充满海洋一样。

约书亚照耶和华的吩咐，砍断他们马匹的蹄筋，烧毁他们的战车。

耶和华对约书亚说：“你不要惧怕他们。明天这个时候，我必把他们全部交给以色列人杀戮，你要砍断他们马匹的蹄筋，烧毁他们的战车。”

祂在那里摧毁敌人的火箭、盾牌和刀剑等兵器。（细拉）上帝啊，你荣耀无比，你的威严超过亘古群山。强敌被掳掠，他们倒地而亡，再也不能还手。雅各的上帝啊，你一斥责，他们就人仰马翻。

祂要在各民族中施行审判，为远方的强国断定是非。他们要把刀剑铸成犁头，把矛枪打成镰刀。国与国之间不再动刀枪，也不再学习战争。人人都安然坐在自己的葡萄树和无花果树下，不再担惊受怕。这是万军之耶和华亲口说的。

勇士的弓被折断，软弱的变为刚强。

“‘以色列各城邑的居民都要出去捡兵器当柴烧，其中包括大小的盾牌、弓箭、矛枪等，足够用七年。他们不必到田间拾柴，或到林中伐木，因为有兵器当燃料。他们要抢夺那些抢夺过他们的人，掳掠那些掳掠过他们的人。这是主耶和华说的。

我要打掉你左手的弓，击落你右手的箭。
