Therefore we will not fear, though the earth shakes And the mountains slip into the heart of the sea;

所以，地虽改变，山虽摇动到海心，

因此我们不害怕——即使大地变动，群山动摇陷入海中；

因此，任大地震動，群山沉入深海；

因此，地雖然震動，群山雖然崩塌入海洋的深處，我們也不害怕。

所以地雖起了改變，我們也不怕；山雖搖動到海心，我們也不驚；

因此我們不害怕——即使大地變動，群山動搖陷入海中；

故雖大地變遷、山嶽震動、移於海心、

平陸震動、海島遷移、波濤洶湧、山嶽搖撼、我弗迷兮、

所以地雖震陷、山雖崩倒海中、我儕亦無恐懼、

主為吾人所依恃。大難臨頭可托庇。

Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,

The earth may fall apart. The mountains may fall into the middle of the sea. But we will not be afraid.

Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,

So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea.

Therefore we will not be afraid, though the earth trembles and the mountains topple into the depths of the seas,

Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

Therefore will we not fear, though the earth do change, And though the mountains be shaken into the heart of the seas;

Therefore we will not be afraid, though the earth trembles and the mountains topple into the depths of the seas,

For this reason we do not fear when the earth shakes, and the mountains tumble into the depths of the sea,

Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas;

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

so that we confidently say,“ The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?”

If an army encamps against me, My heart will not fear; If war arises against me, In spite of this I am confident.

And when you hear of wars and revolts, do not be alarmed; for these things must take place first, but the end will not follow immediately.”Then He continued by saying to them,“ Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom,and there will be massive earthquakes, and in various places plagues and famines; and there will be terrible sights and great signs from heaven.

Then the earth shook and quaked; And the foundations of the mountains were trembling And were shaken, because He was angry.

And Jesus answered and said to them,“ Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain,‘ Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.

They do not know nor do they understand; They walk around in darkness; All the foundations of the earth are shaken.

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be discovered.Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat!But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.Therefore, beloved, since you look for these things, be diligent to be found spotless and blameless by Him, at peace,

“ There will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves,people fainting from fear and the expectation of the things that are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep burst open, and the floodgates of the sky were opened.The rain fell upon the earth for forty days and forty nights.

And behold, a violent storm developed on the sea, so that the boat was being covered by the waves; but Jesus Himself was asleep.And they came to Him and woke Him, saying,“ Save us, Lord; we are perishing!”He* said to them,“ Why are you afraid, you men of little faith?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it became perfectly calm.
