Let your sharp arrows pierce the hearts of the king’s enemies; let the nations fall beneath your feet.

Why do the nations rage, And the peoples meditate a vain thing?The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against Jehovah, and against his anointed, saying,Let us break their bonds asunder, And cast away their cords from us.He that sitteth in the heavens will laugh: The Lord will have them in derision.Then will he speak unto them in his wrath, And vex them in his sore displeasure:Yet I have set my king Upon my holy hill of Zion.I will tell of the decree: Jehovah said unto me, Thou art my son; This day have I begotten thee.Ask of me, and I will give thee the nations for thine inheritance, And the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; Thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.

They then that received his word were baptized: and there were added unto them in that day about three thousand souls.

Say unto God, How terrible are thy works! Through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.All the earth shall worship thee, And shall sing unto thee; They shall sing to thy name.[ Selah

For I have bent Judah for me, I have filled the bow with Ephraim; and I will stir up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and will make thee as the sword of a mighty man.And Jehovah shall be seen over them; and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning; and the Lord Jehovah will blow the trumpet, and will go with whirlwinds of the south.

Now when they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do?

and believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women:

But they, when they heard this, were cut to the heart, and were minded to slay them.

For I will not dare to speak of any things save those which Christ wrought through me, for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed,in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Holy Spirit; so that from Jerusalem, and round about even unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ;
