恶人窥伺义人，想要杀死他。耶和华必不把他撇弃在恶人的手中，在审判的时候，也不定他的罪。

要搭救他们的性命脱离死亡，使他们在饥荒中可以存活。

蒙耶和华赐福的，必承受地土；受他咒诅的，必被剪除。

他必救你脱离捕鸟的人的网罗，脱离致命的瘟疫。他必用自己的羽毛遮盖你，你要投靠在他的翅膀底下；他的信实像盾牌，像坚垒。你不必害怕黑夜的惊恐，或是白日的飞箭；也不必害怕黑暗中流行的瘟疫，或是在正午把人毁灭的毒病。虽有千人仆倒在你的左边，万人仆倒在你的右边，但灾害必不临近你。
