The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry;

The Lord looks with favor on those who are godly. His ears are open to their cry.

The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles.

But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love.

He never takes his eyes off the innocent, but he sets them on thrones with kings and exalts them forever.

In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened; he saved me from all my troubles.

Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer.

“ O my God, may your eyes be open and your ears attentive to all the prayers made to you in this place.

“ O our God, hear your servant’s prayer! Listen as I plead. For your own sake, Lord, smile again on your desolate sanctuary.“ O my God, lean down and listen to me. Open your eyes and see our despair. After Hezekiah received the letter from the messengers and read it, he went up to the Lord’s Temple and spread it out before the Lord.And Hezekiah prayed this prayer before the Lord:“ O Lord of Heaven’s Armies, God of Israel, you are enthroned between the mighty cherubim! You alone are God of all the kingdoms of the earth. You alone created the heavens and the earth.Bend down, O Lord, and listen! Open your eyes, O Lord, and see!
