傳語虔信。及時祈主。洪水不犯。主實砥柱。

Therefore let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found; surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them.

Let everyone who is faithful pray to you while they can still look to you. When troubles come like a flood, they certainly won’t reach those who are faithful.

Therefore let everyone who is godly offer prayer to you at a time when you may be found; surely in the rush of great waters, they shall not reach him.

Know that the Lord has set apart his faithful servant for himself; the Lord hears when I call to him. (niv)

You will look for me, but you will not find me; and where I am, you cannot come.” (niv)

He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him. (niv)

yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in any way by us.Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. (niv)

This is what the Lord says:“ In the time of my favor I will answer you, and in the day of salvation I will help you; I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land and to reassign its desolate inheritances, (niv)

It teaches us to say“ No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, (niv)

“ Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” (niv)

For forty days the flood kept coming on the earth, and as the waters increased they lifted the ark high above the earth.The waters rose and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water.They rose greatly on the earth, and all the high mountains under the entire heavens were covered.The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than fifteen cubits.Every living thing that moved on land perished— birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind.Everything on dry land that had the breath of life in its nostrils died. But I pray to you, Lord, in the time of your favor; in your great love, O God, answer me with your sure salvation.Rescue me from the mire, do not let me sink; deliver me from those who hate me, from the deep waters.Do not let the floodwaters engulf me or the depths swallow me up or the pit close its mouth over me. the flood would have engulfed us, the torrent would have swept over us,the raging waters would have swept us away. (niv)

Save me, O God, for the waters have come up to my neck.I sink in the miry depths, where there is no foothold. I have come into the deep waters; the floods engulf me. (niv)

who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. (niv)

Reach down your hand from on high; deliver me and rescue me from the mighty waters, from the hands of foreigners (niv)

“ Then they will call to me but I will not answer; they will look for me but will not find me, (niv)

and said,“ If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace— but now it is hidden from your eyes.The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side.They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God’s coming to you.” (niv)

Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent.But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. (niv)

But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. (niv)

Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.Then I will teach transgressors your ways, so that sinners will turn back to you. (niv)
