因此凡虔誠人、當在可蒙主恩之時、祈求主、洪水氾濫、必不臨及其身、

傳語虔信。及時祈主。洪水不犯。主實砥柱。

Therefore let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found; surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them.

Let everyone who is faithful pray to you while they can still look to you. When troubles come like a flood, they certainly won’t reach those who are faithful.

耶和華可遇之時、爾其尋之、相近之日、爾其籲之、

爾涉於水、我必與俱、憑河不至淹沒、經火不致焚燬、其燄不爇爾身、

蓋曰、我聽爾於見納之時、佑爾於拯救之日、今乃見納之時、拯救之日矣、

我心因耶和華而誇、謙遜之人、聞之則喜兮、爾其偕我稱耶和華為大、共尊其名兮、我求耶和華、蒙其俞允、拯我脫諸恐懼兮、瞻望之者、其容有光、永不赧顏兮、

爾之瀑布發聲、淵淵相應、爾之波濤、淹沒我身兮、

須知敬虔者、為耶和華所區別、我呼籲耶和華、彼必垂聽兮、

爾將尋我不遇、我所在、爾弗能至、

使我口謳新歌、頌我上帝、多人見之、寅畏而恃耶和華兮、

今我喜、非因爾憂、乃因爾憂而生改悔、蓋爾憂乃依上帝旨、致爾無所受損於我儕、夫依上帝旨而憂、則生改悔、以致得救、無後悔、惟斯世之憂則致死、

耶和華又曰、我曾於見納之時聽爾、於拯救之日助爾、我必護爾、俾與庶民立約、復興斯土、使民得荒蕪之區以為業、

教我儕棄絕不虔、與世俗之慾、而以貞正、公義、敬虔、度生於今世、

凡聞我言而行之者、譬諸智人、建屋磐上、雨降潦行、風吹衝屋、而不傾覆、因基磐上也、凡聞我言而不行者、譬諸愚人、建屋沙上、雨降潦行、風吹撞屋、遂以傾覆、且傾覆者大也、○

洪水氾濫四旬、水勢洶湧、舟浮於地、水愈漲溢、舟溯洄於水面、水勢橫流已甚、天下崇山、俱為湮沒、水高於山、十有五肘、岑巖悉沒、地上眾生、飛鳥、六畜、百獸、昆蟲、以及人類、盡皆滅亡、凡在陸地、有鼻可通呼吸者、咸就淪喪、

耶和華歟、於見納時、我祈禱爾、上帝歟、依爾慈惠之盛、拯救之誠、俞允我兮、拯我於淤泥、勿使陷溺、援我於憾我者、出我於深水兮、勿容大水沒我、深淵滅我、阱口封於我上兮、

波濤衝我、溪流淹我、狂瀾沒我兮、

上帝歟、尚其救我、諸水迫我兮、我陷淤泥、立足無地、我入深水、洪濤淹沒兮、

彼慰我於諸難中、致我能以其慰我者、慰難中之人、

自上伸手以拯我、援我於巨浸、及外族之手兮、

斯時呼籲我、我弗應、切尋我、而弗得、

曰、倘爾於是日、知關乎平安之事則幸、但今隱於爾目矣、蓋日將至、爾敵必築壘環爾、四週困爾、且擲爾及爾中子女於地、不遺一石於石上、以爾不知眷顧爾之日也、○

蛇於婦後、吐水如河、欲漂沒之、地坼、吸龍所吐之河以助婦、

然我蒙矜恤、俾耶穌基督於我為首者、彰厥恆忍、為後信而得永生者之模範、

復我拯救之樂、以悅懌之神扶我兮、我則以爾道訓有過者、罪人必歸於爾兮、
