Praise be to the Lord, for he showed me the wonders of his love when I was in a city under siege.

Give praise to the Lord. He showed me his wonderful love when my enemies attacked the city I was in.

Blessed be the Lord, for he has wondrously shown his steadfast love to me when I was in a besieged city.

Praise the Lord, for he has shown me the wonders of his unfailing love. He kept me safe when my city was under attack.

我今日使爾在通國、在猶大王公祭司庶民前、若鞏固之城、若鐵柱銅垣、

惟爾曹乃蒙選之族、有王位之祭司、成聖之國、屬主之民、主召爾出幽暗、入其妙光、欲爾宣揚其德、

爾曹當向主唱新詩、因主施行奇事、以右手以聖臂而獲大勝、
