Lord, by Your favor You have made my mountain stand strong; You hid Your face, and I was troubled.

耶和华啊，你曾施恩，叫我的江山稳固；你掩了面，我就惊惶。

耶和华啊！你的恩宠，使我坚立，如同大山；你一掩面，我就惊惶。

耶和華歟、昔爾施恩、使我立於固山、及爾掩面、我則煩擾兮、

耶和華施恩兮、國祚鞏固、有若山嶽、爾乃遐棄予兮、觳觫之不勝、

主又施恩、使我之國鞏固如山、自主掩面、我甚驚懼、

昔處康樂。自謂安固。

Lord, when you favored me, you made my royal mountain stand firm; but when you hid your face, I was dismayed.

Lord, when you gave me your help, you made Mount Zion stand firm. But when you took away your help, I was terrified.

By your favor, O Lord, you made my mountain stand strong; you hid your face; I was dismayed.

Your favor, O Lord, made me as secure as a mountain. Then you turned away from me, and I was shattered.

LORD, when you showed your favor, you made me stand like a strong mountain; when you hid your face, I was terrified.

Lord, by Your favor You have made my mountain to stand strong; You hid Your face, I was dismayed.

Thou, Jehovah, of thy favor hadst made my mountain to stand strong: Thou didst hide thy face; I was troubled.

Lord, when You showed Your favor, You made me stand like a strong mountain; when You hid Your face, I was terrified.

LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face,[ and] I was troubled.

O LORD, in your good favor you made me secure. Then you rejected me and I was terrified.

You, Yahweh, when you favored me, made my mountain stand strong; but when you hid your face, I was troubled.

You hide Your face, they are troubled; You take away their breath, they die and return to their dust.

Answer me speedily, O Lord; My spirit fails! Do not hide Your face from me, Lest I be like those who go down into the pit.

Then My anger shall be aroused against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide My face from them, and they shall be devoured. And many evils and troubles shall befall them, so that they will say in that day,‘ Have not these evils come upon us because our God is not among us?’

Indeed it was for my own peace That I had great bitterness; But You have lovingly delivered my soul from the pit of corruption, For You have cast all my sins behind Your back.

For You are the glory of their strength, And in Your favor our horn is exalted.

And now, Lord, You are God, and have promised this goodness to Your servant.Now You have been pleased to bless the house of Your servant, that it may continue before You forever; for You have blessed it, O Lord, and it shall be blessed forever.”

For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.

Why do You stand afar off, O Lord? Why do You hide in times of trouble?

You have granted me life and favor, And Your care has preserved my spirit.

Because of Your indignation and Your wrath; For You have lifted me up and cast me away.

But when I looked for good, evil came to me; And when I waited for light, then came darkness.My heart is in turmoil and cannot rest; Days of affliction confront me.I go about mourning, but not in the sun; I stand up in the assembly and cry out for help.I am a brother of jackals, And a companion of ostriches.My skin grows black and falls from me; My bones burn with fever.My harp is turned to mourning, And my flute to the voice of those who weep.

He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps.

For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.

How long, O Lord? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?How long shall I take counsel in my soul, Having sorrow in my heart daily? How long will my enemy be exalted over me?

You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great.You enlarged my path under me, So my feet did not slip.

For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, Nor did their own arm save them; But it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, Because You favored them.
