其怒在俄頃、其恩在畢生、哭泣寄於夜、歡欣來於晨兮、

其怒不過俄頃、彼加予恩、藉以得生、雖夤夜而哭泣、朝來則有歡聲兮、

因主震怒不過片時、主之恩惠、乃一生之久、夜雖哭泣、晨必歡呼、

蒙主煦育。可不頌美。勗哉諸聖。讚主莫已。

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.

Come, my people, enter into your rooms, and shut your doors behind you. Hide yourself for a little moment, until the indignation is past.

For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory,

Those who sow in tears will reap in joy.He who goes out weeping, carrying seed for sowing, will certainly come again with joy, carrying his sheaves.

Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

He will not always accuse; neither will he stay angry forever.

You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forever more.

Most certainly I tell you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice. You will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.A woman, when she gives birth, has sorrow because her time has come. But when she has delivered the child, she doesn’t remember the anguish any more, for the joy that a human being is born into the world.Therefore you now have sorrow, but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.

Because your loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise you.

But I will sing of your strength. Yes, I will sing aloud of your loving kindness in the morning. For you have been my high tower, a refuge in the day of my distress.

I now rejoice, not that you were grieved, but that you were grieved to repentance. For you were grieved in a godly way, that you might suffer loss by us in nothing.For godly sorrow produces repentance to salvation, which brings no regret. But the sorrow of the world produces death.

I am weary with my groaning. Every night I flood my bed. I drench my couch with my tears.My eye wastes away because of grief. It grows old because of all my adversaries.Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity, for Yahweh has heard the voice of my weeping.Yahweh has heard my supplication. Yahweh accepts my prayer.

Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning, for I trust in you. Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to you.

and said,“ Remember now, Yahweh, I beg you, how I have walked before you in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in your sight.” Then Hezekiah wept bitterly.Then Yahweh’s word came to Isaiah, saying,“ Go, and tell Hezekiah,‘ Yahweh, the God of David your father, says,“ I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. Behold, I will add fifteen years to your life.

God is within her. She shall not be moved. God will help her at dawn.

How precious is your loving kindness, God! The children of men take refuge under the shadow of your wings.They shall be abundantly satisfied with the abundance of your house. You will make them drink of the river of your pleasures.For with you is the spring of life. In your light we will see light.

But Yahweh’s loving kindness is from everlasting to everlasting with those who fear him, his righteousness to children’s children,

Jacob was left alone, and wrestled with a man there until the breaking of the day.

You count my wanderings. You put my tears into your container. Aren’t they in your book?Then my enemies shall turn back in the day that I call. I know this: that God is for me.In God, I will praise his word. In Yahweh, I will praise his word.I have put my trust in God. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

For the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy, says:“ I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.For I will not contend forever, neither will I always be angry; for the spirit would faint before me, and the souls whom I have made.

He showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,

The Spirit and the bride say,“ Come!” He who hears, let him say,“ Come!” He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely.

Let’s acknowledge Yahweh. Let’s press on to know Yahweh. As surely as the sun rises, Yahweh will appear. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rain that waters the earth.”
