主之聲驚動牝鹿、震拔林中樹木、在主殿中皆讚美主之榮耀、

麀震厥音。遄產幼鹿。憬彼森林。木葉盡脫。凡在殿中。莫不祝福。

“ Do you know when the wild goats give birth? Have you watched as deer are born in the wild?Do you know how many months they carry their young? Are you aware of the time of their delivery?They crouch down to give birth to their young and deliver their offspring.

I love your sanctuary, Lord, the place where your glorious presence dwells.

So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea.Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge! InterludeA river brings joy to the city of our God, the sacred home of the Most High.God dwells in that city; it cannot be destroyed. From the very break of day, God will protect it.

O God, we meditate on your unfailing love as we worship in your Temple.

The Lord will consume Assyria’s glory like a fire consumes a forest in a fruitful land; it will waste away like sick people in a plague.Of all that glorious forest, only a few trees will survive— so few that a child could count them!

“ Son of man, turn and face the south and speak out against it; prophesy against the brushlands of the Negev.Tell the southern wilderness,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Hear the word of the Lord! I will set you on fire, and every tree, both green and dry, will be burned. The terrible flames will not be quenched and will scorch everything from south to north.And everyone in the world will see that I, the Lord, have set this fire. It will not be put out.’”

Oh, praise the Lord, all you servants of the Lord, you who serve at night in the house of the Lord.Lift your hands toward the sanctuary, and praise the Lord.

Praise the Lord! Praise the name of the Lord! Praise him, you who serve the Lord,you who serve in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God.

I have seen you in your sanctuary and gazed upon your power and glory.

This wickedness is like a brushfire. It burns not only briers and thorns but also sets the forests ablaze. Its burning sends up clouds of smoke.
