列國為甚麼爭鬧？萬民為甚麼圖謀虛妄？世上的君王都站穩，臣宰一同算計，要對抗耶和華，對抗他的受膏者：「我們要掙脫他們的捆綁，脫去他們的繩索。」那坐在天上的必譏笑，主必嗤笑他們。那時，他要在怒中責備他們，在烈怒中驚嚇他們：

他愛咒罵，咒罵就臨到他；他不喜愛祝福，祝福就遠離他！他拿咒罵當衣服穿上；這咒罵就如水進到他裏面，如油進入他骨頭。願這咒罵當他遮身的衣服，作他經常束腰的帶子！這就是那些與我作對、用惡言議論我的人從耶和華所受的報應。但是你，主－耶和華啊，求你因你的名採取行動；因你的慈愛美好，求你搭救我！

「主耶和華如此說：那時，你的心必起意念，圖謀惡計，

他赦免你一切的罪孽，醫治你一切的疾病。他救贖你的命脫離地府，以仁愛和憐憫為你的冠冕。
