莫將我消滅。使與群兇同。彼輩口如蜜。心中含辛螫。

Do not drag me away with the wicked, with those who do evil, who speak cordially with their neighbors but harbor malice in their hearts.

Don’t drag me away with sinners. Don’t drag me away with those who do evil. They speak in a friendly way to their neighbors. But their hearts are full of hate.

Do not drag me off with the wicked, with the workers of evil, who speak peace with their neighbors while evil is in their hearts.

Do not drag me away with the wicked— with those who do evil— those who speak friendly words to their neighbors while planning evil in their hearts.

People lie to one another; they flatter and deceive.

His words are as smooth as butter, but he harbors animosity in his heart. His words seem softer than oil, but they are really like sharp swords.

Do not sweep me away with sinners, or execute me along with violent people,

Their tongues are like deadly arrows. They are always telling lies. Friendly words for their neighbors come from their mouths. But their minds are thinking up ways to trap them.I will certainly punish them for doing such things!” says the LORD.“ I will certainly bring retribution on such a nation as this!”

They spend all their time planning how to bring him down. They love to use deceit; they pronounce blessings with their mouths, but inwardly they utter curses.( Selah)

This is what the LORD says:“ The prophets who mislead my people are as good as dead. If someone gives them enough to eat, they offer an oracle of peace. But if someone does not give them food, they are ready to declare war on him.

“ Then he will say to those on his left,‘ Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire that has been prepared for the devil and his angels!

He plans ways to sin while he lies in bed; he is committed to a sinful lifestyle; he does not reject what is evil.

See the one who is pregnant with wickedness, who conceives destructive plans, and gives birth to harmful lies–

Like a coating of glaze over earthenware are fervent lips with an evil heart.The one who hates others disguises it with his lips, but he stores up deceit within him.When he speaks graciously, do not believe him, for there are seven abominations within him.Though his hatred may be concealed by deceit, his evil will be uncovered in the assembly.

You have taken notice, for you always see one who inflicts pain and suffering. The unfortunate victim entrusts his cause to you; you deliver the fatherless.

His mouth is full of curses and deceptive, harmful words; his tongue injures and destroys.

And he said to the community,“ Move away from the tents of these wicked men, and do not touch anything they have, lest you be destroyed because of all their sins.”

Then the Pharisees went out and planned together to entrap him with his own words.They sent to him their disciples along with the Herodians, saying,“ Teacher, we know that you are truthful, and teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. You do not court anyone’s favor because you show no partiality.Tell us then, what do you think? Is it right to pay taxes to Caesar or not?”But Jesus realized their evil intentions and said,“ Hypocrites! Why are you testing me?

Why do you boast about your evil plans, O powerful man? God’s loyal love protects me all day long!

And these will depart into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
