求主惟一事。足以慰幽衷。終身居主宅。陶然醉春風。逍遙聖殿裏。瞻仰樂無窮。

One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.

I’m asking the Lord for only one thing. Here is what I want. I want to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. I want to look at the beauty of the Lord. I want to worship him in his temple.

One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.

The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple.

I have asked one thing from the LORD; it is what I desire: to dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, gazing on the beauty of the LORD and seeking him in his temple.

耶和華兮、爾居處之室、予愛之兮、爾榮光之地、余尊之兮。

我得恩寵福祉、畢生靡窮兮、耶和華有室、爰居爰處、日久月長兮。

維爾遴選斯民、使之得侍於側、入爾場帷、居爾聖室、爾為肆筵、備極豐腆、可謂福兮。

居處爾室、頌美靡已者、得其純嘏兮、

余居爾場帷、雖僅一日、較諸數年猶愈兮、寧守上帝之門、毋入惡人之室兮。

昔在聖所、睹爾能力、瞻爾尊榮、今欲再見之兮、爾之恩澤、過於生命、予不禁頌美爾兮、我尚生存、必舉手以頌讚爾名兮、余心悅懌、如得肥甘滫髓、足以果腹、頌爾以口、祝爾以舌兮、

兄弟乎、我不以為既得、

求主恩澤、爾所命兮、余憶斯命而爾求兮、

然所需者、一而已、馬利亞既擇善業、則不可奪之矣、

惟上帝之國與義是求、則此物自加諸爾、

吾面去帕、得觀主榮、如鑑照我、主之神化我、效主像、久而彌光、

我之上帝耶和華、俾余沾爾恩澤、我所作為、使之亨通兮。

耶穌言人當祈禱不怠、設譬、

苟不信、不能為上帝所悅、蓋謁上帝之人、必信有上帝、賞賚夫求之者、

吾又語汝、求則爾與、尋則遇之、叩門則啟之、凡求者得也、尋者遇也、叩門者啟也、○

倘爾一心求予、則必可得。

曰、竭力爭進窄門、吾語汝、求入不得者多也、

為嫠八十四年、身不離殿、禁食祈禱、日夜崇事、

美哉郇邑、上帝在彼、彰其榮光兮、

求則爾與、尋則遇之、叩門則啟之、凡求者得也、尋者遇也、叩門者啟也、

昔上帝命光照暗、今照吾心、使知上帝榮、在耶穌基督而顯、

我禁食衣麻蒙灰、仰首禱告我主上帝、

郇之女耶路撒冷之女、當欣喜歡呼、爾王涖臨、秉公義、施救援、溫柔而乘驢、及驢之小者、

嫠獨處無倚、惟上帝是賴、晝夜祈禱、

掃羅犯罪、違耶和華命、不詢於耶和華、乃問於憑卜神者、故耶和華殺之、移其國祚、以畀耶西之子大闢。

許願曰、萬有之主耶和華、如垂顧婢難、憶我弗忘、賜婢生男、則必使奉事耶和華、至於畢生、薙髮之刀不加於首。

大闢問耶和華曰、欲追其軍、可乎。追可及乎。曰、追之必及、諸物悉獲。

大闢在位之時年饑、歷三載、大闢諮諏於耶和華。耶和華曰、緣掃羅及其全家、殘忍是行嘗殺基遍人。

我必盥手以示無辜、而詣耶和華臺前兮、

亞希米勒為之問耶和華、且供以食、又賜以非利士人坷利亞刃。
