For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be put to shame.

In thee, O Jehovah, do I take refuge: Let me never be put to shame.

They cried unto thee, and were delivered: They trusted in thee, and were not put to shame.

In thee, O Jehovah, do I take refuge; Let me never be put to shame: Deliver me in thy righteousness.

And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their faces to the earth, and lick the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am Jehovah; and they that wait for me shall not be put to shame.

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee; because he trusteth in thee.

Oh taste and see that Jehovah is good: Blessed is the man that taketh refuge in him.

and hope putteth not to shame; because the love of God hath been shed abroad in our hearts through the Holy Spirit which was given unto us.

How long shall I take counsel in my soul, Having sorrow in my heart all the day? How long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?Consider and answer me, O Jehovah my God: Lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; Lest mine adversaries rejoice when I am moved.

Jehovah, how long shall the wicked, How long shall the wicked triumph?

For I will defend this city to save it, for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.

Now therefore, O Jehovah our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art Jehovah, even thou only.

O Jehovah my God, in thee do I take refuge: Save me from all them that pursue me, and deliver me,

Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; My God, my rock, in whom I will take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.

Attend unto my cry; For I am brought very low: Deliver me from my persecutors; For they are stronger than I.

Because it is contained in scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: And he that believeth on him shall not be put to shame.

Be merciful unto me, O God; for man would swallow me up: All the day long he fighting oppresseth me.

Thus saith the king, Let not Hezekiah deceive you; for he will not be able to deliver you:neither let Hezekiah make you trust in Jehovah, saying, Jehovah will surely deliver us; this city shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.Hearken not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make your peace with me, and come out to me; and eat ye every one of his vine, and every one of his fig- tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his own cistern;until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards.Beware lest Hezekiah persuade you, saying, Jehovah will deliver us. Hath any of the gods of the nations delivered his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?Where are the gods of Hamath and Arpad? where are the gods of Sepharvaim? and have they delivered Samaria out of my hand?Who are they among all the gods of these countries, that have delivered their country out of my hand, that Jehovah should deliver Jerusalem out of my hand?

My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning?

Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God in whom thou trustest deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.

Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me; Neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.For they speak not peace; But they devise deceitful words against them that are quiet in the land.Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me; They said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it.Thou hast seen it, O Jehovah; keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.Stir up thyself, and awake to the justice due unto me, Even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.Judge me, O Jehovah my God, according to thy righteousness; And let them not rejoice over me.Let them not say in their heart, Aha, so would we have it: Let them not say, We have swallowed him up.

Commit thyself unto Jehovah; let him deliver him: Let him rescue him, seeing he delighteth in him.

And Jehovah helpeth them, and rescueth them: He rescueth them from the wicked, and saveth them, Because they have taken refuge in him.

Thou shalt winnow them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them; and thou shalt rejoice in Jehovah, thou shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel.

therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner- stone of sure foundation: he that believeth shall not be in haste.
