Anyone who has clean hands and a pure heart. Anyone who does not trust in the statue of a god. Anyone who doesn’t use the name of that god when he makes a promise.

就是手洁心清，不向虚妄，起誓不怀诡诈的人。

就是手洁心清，意念不向虚妄，起誓不怀诡诈的人。

就是手洁心清，意念不向虚妄，起誓不怀诡诈的人。

只有那些手洁心清，不拜假神，不起假誓的人。

就是手洁心清的人，他不倾向虚妄，起誓不怀诡诈。

就是双手清白、心里纯洁的人，他的心不倾向虚妄，他也不起假誓。

就是手潔心清，不向虛妄，起誓不懷詭詐的人。

就是手潔心清，意念不向虛妄，起誓不懷詭詐的人。

就是手潔心清，意念不向虛妄，起誓不懷詭詐的人。

只有那些手潔心清，不拜假神，不起假誓的人。

就是手潔心清，意念不仰仗虛謊，起誓不懷詭詐的：

就是雙手清白、心裡純潔的人，他的心不傾向虛妄，他也不起假誓。

必也手潔心清、存心不向虛誕、設誓不懷詭詐者兮、

手惟潔、心惟清、不虛誕、不妄誓兮、

即手潔心清、不起妄念、不立偽誓之人、

其惟純德。心跡雙清。無愧無怍。

The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god.

He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully.

Only those whose hands and hearts are pure, who do not worship idols and never tell lies.

The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not appealed to what is false, and who has not sworn deceitfully.

One who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to deceit And has not sworn deceitfully.

He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully.

He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; Who hath not lifted up his soul unto falsehood, And hath not sworn deceitfully.

The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not set his mind on what is false, and who has not sworn deceitfully.

He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

The one whose deeds are blameless and whose motives are pure, who does not lie, or make promises with no intention of keeping them.

He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood, and has not sworn deceitfully.

Blessed are those whose hearts are pure. They will see God.

God, create a pure heart in me. Give me a new spirit that is faithful to you.

But godly people will keep doing what is right. Those who have clean hands will grow stronger.

Come near to God, and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners. Make your hearts pure, you who can’t make up your minds.

I wash my hands to show that I’m not guilty. Lord, I come near your altar.

They hate evil people. But they honor those who have respect for the Lord. They keep their promises even when it hurts. They do not change their mind.

Dear friends, we have these promises from God. So let us make ourselves pure from everything that makes our bodies and spirits impure. Let us be completely holy. We want to honor God.

The Lord has been good to me because I do what is right. He has rewarded me because I lead a pure life.

People must do what is right. They must be honest and tell the truth. They must not get rich by cheating others. Their hands must not receive money from those who want special favors. They must not let their ears listen to plans to commit murder. They must close their eyes to even thinking about doing what is evil.People like that will be kept safe. It will be as if they were living on high mountains. It will be as if they were living in a mountain fort. They will have all the food they need. And they will never run out of water.”

God is truly good to Israel. He is good to those who have pure hearts.

You might spread out your hands toward me when you pray. But I do not look at you. You might even offer many prayers. But I am not listening to them. Your hands are covered with the blood of the people you have murdered.So wash and make yourselves clean. Get your evil actions out of my sight! Stop doing what is wrong!

God showed that there is no difference between us and them. That’s because he made their hearts pure because of their faith.

So I want the men in every place to pray. I want them to lift up holy hands. I don’t want them to be angry when they pray. I don’t want them to argue.

And he does not eat at the mountain temples. He does not worship the statues of Israel’s gods. He does not sleep with another man’s wife. He does not have sex with his own wife during her monthly period.

People of Jerusalem, wash your sins from your hearts and be saved. How long will you hold on to your evil thoughts?

In the morning let me hear about your faithful love, because I’ve put my trust in you. Show me the way I should live, because I trust you with my life.

Only what is pure will enter the city. No one who causes people to believe lies will enter it. No one who does shameful things will enter it either. Only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life will enter the city.

Suppose I clean myself with soap. Suppose I wash my hands with cleanser.

The Lord saw how bad the sins of everyone on earth had become. They only thought about evil things.

I saw“ a new heaven and a new earth.”( Isaiah 65:17) The first heaven and the first earth were completely gone. There was no longer any sea.I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem. It was coming down out of heaven from God. It was prepared like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.I heard a loud voice from the throne. It said,“ Look! God now makes his home with the people. He will live with them. They will be his people. And God himself will be with them and be their God.‘ He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death.’( Isaiah 25:8) And there will be no more sadness. There will be no more crying or pain. Things are no longer the way they used to be.”

In you, Lord my God, I put my trust.

When you look up at the heavens, you will see the sun and moon. And you will see huge numbers of stars. Don’t let anyone tempt you to bow down to the sun, moon or stars. Don’t worship things the Lord your God has provided for all the nations on earth.

No one can say,“ I have kept my heart pure. I’m‘ clean,’ and I haven’t sinned.”

“ So I will come and put you on trial. I will be quick to bring charges against all of you,” says the Lord who rules over all.“ I will bring charges against you sinful people who do not have any respect for me. That includes those who practice evil magic. It includes those who commit adultery and those who tell lies in court. It includes those who cheat workers out of their pay. It includes those who treat widows badly. It also includes those who mistreat children whose fathers have died. And it includes those who take away the rights of outsiders in the courts.

He said to me,“ A curse sent by the Lord is written on it. It is going out over the whole land. Every thief will be driven out of the land. That is what it says on one side of the scroll. Everyone who lies when promising to tell the truth will also be driven out. That is what it says on the other side.The Lord who rules over all announces,‘ I will send the curse out. It will enter the house of the thief. It will also enter the house of anyone who lies when making a promise in my name. It will remain in that house and destroy it completely. It will pull down its beams and stones.’ ”

“ Blessed are those who wash their robes. They will have the right to come to the tree of life. They will be allowed to go through the gates into the city.Outside the city are those who are impure. These people include those who practice witchcraft. Outside are also those who commit sexual sins and murder. Outside are those who worship statues of gods. And outside is everyone who loves and does what is false.

“‘ “You continue to steal and commit murder. You commit adultery. You tell lies in court. You burn incense to Baal. You worship other gods you didn’t know before.Then you come and stand in front of me. You keep coming to this house where I have put my Name. You say,‘ We are safe.’ You think you are safe when you do so many things I hate.

“ Suppose he does not eat at the mountain temples. And he does not worship the statues of Israel’s gods. He does not sleep with another man’s wife.

It is for those who commit sexual sins. It is for those who commit homosexual acts. It is for people who buy and sell slaves. It is for liars. It is for people who tell lies in court. It is for those who are a witness to things that aren’t true. And it is for anything else that is the opposite of true teaching.

“ Friends, why are you doing this? We are only human, just like you. We are bringing you good news. Turn away from these worthless things. Turn to the living God. He is the one who made the heavens and the earth and the sea. He made everything in them.

They make their promises in my name. They say,‘ You can be sure that the Lord is alive.’ But their promises can’t be trusted.”
