And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of Jehovah, which he will work for you to- day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to- day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.Jehovah will fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

Romans 4:18-22
Who in hope believed against hope, to the end that he might become a father of many nations, according to that which had been spoken, So shall thy seed be.And without being weakened in faith he considered his own body now as good as dead( he being about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb;yet, looking unto the promise of God, he wavered not through unbelief, but waxed strong through faith, giving glory to God,and being fully assured that what he had promised, he was able also to perform.Wherefore also it was reckoned unto him for righteousness.

Hebrews 11:8-32

1 Samuel 7 9-1 Samuel 7 12
And Samuel took a sucking lamb, and offered it for a whole burnt- offering unto Jehovah: and Samuel cried unto Jehovah for Israel; and Jehovah answered him.And as Samuel was offering up the burnt- offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel; but Jehovah thundered with a great thunder on that day upon the Philistines, and discomfited them; and they were smitten down before Israel.And the men of Israel went out of Mizpah, and pursued the Philistines, and smote them, until they came under Beth- car.Then Samuel took a stone, and set it between Mizpah and Shen, and called the name of it Eben- ezer, saying, Hitherto hath Jehovah helped us.

And Jacob said, O God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, O Jehovah, who saidst unto me, Return unto thy country, and to thy kindred, and I will do thee good:I am not worthy of the least of all the lovingkindnesses, and of all the truth, which thou hast showed unto thy servant; for with my staff I passed over this Jordan; and now I am become two companies.Deliver me, I pray thee, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau: for I fear him, lest he come and smite me, the mother with the children.And thou saidst, I will surely do thee good, and make thy seed as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude.
