They open their mouths to devour me like a roaring lion that rips its prey.

他們向我張開着嘴，像獅子在抓撕、在吼叫。

他們向我張大了口，如同撕抓吼叫的獅子。

向我張口、如咆哮吞噬之獅兮、

其口孔張、吼似猛獅兮、

向我張口、猶如猛獅攫物而吼、

健牡紛紛兮。圍我周匝。來自巴珊兮。洶洶相逼。

Roaring lions that tear their prey open their mouths wide against me.

They are like roaring lions that tear to pieces what they kill. They open their mouths wide to attack me.

they open wide their mouths at me, like a ravening and roaring lion.

Like lions they open their jaws against me, roaring and tearing into their prey.

They open their mouths against me— lions, mauling and roaring.

They open their mouths wide at me, As a ravening and roaring lion.

They gape at Me with their mouths, Like a raging and roaring lion.

They gape upon me with their mouth, As a ravening and a roaring lion.

They open their mouths against me— lions, mauling and roaring.

They gaped upon me[ with] their mouths,[ as] a ravening and a roaring lion.

They open their mouths wide against me, lions tearing prey and roaring.

They are ready to devour me; they say,“ Aha! Aha! We’ve got you!”

He is like a lion that wants to tear its prey to bits, like a young lion crouching in hidden places.

All our enemies have gloated over us;

All your enemies gloated over you. They sneered and gnashed their teeth; they said,“ We have destroyed her! Ha! We have waited a long time for this day. We have lived to see it!”ע( Ayin)

People have opened their mouths against me, they have struck my cheek in scorn; they unite together against me.

Be sober and alert. Your enemy the devil, like a roaring lion, is on the prowl looking for someone to devour.

All who see me taunt me; they mock me and shake their heads.

The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were trying to find false testimony against Jesus so that they could put him to death.But they did not find anything, though many false witnesses came forward. Finally two came forwardand declared,“ This man said,‘ I am able to destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in three days.’”So the high priest stood up and said to him,“ Have you no answer? What is this that they are testifying against you?”But Jesus was silent. The high priest said to him,“ I charge you under oath by the living God, tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God.”Jesus said to him,“ You have said it yourself. But I tell you, from now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.”Then the high priest tore his clothes and declared,“ He has blasphemed! Why do we still need witnesses? Now you have heard the blasphemy!

Rescue me from the mouth of the lion, and from the horns of the wild oxen! You have answered me!

Her officials are like wolves in her midst rending their prey– shedding blood and destroying lives– so they can get dishonest profit.Her prophets coat their messages with whitewash. They see false visions and announce lying omens for them, saying,‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says,’ when the LORD has not spoken.

Then the chief priests and the elders of the people met together in the palace of the high priest, who was named Caiaphas.They planned to arrest Jesus by stealth and kill him.

O Lord, how long are you going to just stand there and watch this? Rescue me from their destructive attacks; guard my life from the young lions!

Otherwise they will rip me to shreds like a lion; they will tear me to bits and no one will be able to rescue me.
