更望賜提撕。俾與鄉願隔。鄉願生斯世。但為斯世活。以主無盡藏。暢恣其口腹。金玉既滿堂。有子萬事足。積蓄遺兒孫。繩繩相承續。

By your hand save me from such people, Lord, from those of this world whose reward is in this life. May what you have stored up for the wicked fill their bellies; may their children gorge themselves on it, and may there be leftovers for their little ones.

Lord, by your power save me from people like that. They belong to this world. They get their reward in this life. May what you have stored up for evil people fill their bellies. May their children’s stomachs be filled with it. And may there even be leftovers for their little ones.

from men by your hand, O Lord, from men of the world whose portion is in this life. You fill their womb with treasure; they are satisfied with children, and they leave their abundance to their infants.

“亚伯拉罕说，‘孩子啊！你要想想，你生前享福，而拉撒路受苦；如今他在这里得到安慰，而你受折磨。

那时，我就可以对自己说，“你积存这么多财产，一生享用不尽，现在大可高枕无忧、尽情地吃喝玩乐吧！”’但上帝对他说，‘无知的人啊，今晚就要取走你的命！你所预备的一切留给谁享用呢？’”耶稣说：“这就是那些只顾为自己积财、在上帝面前却不富足之人的写照。”

如果你们属于这个世界，世人一定会爱你们。可是你们不属于这世界，我已经把你们拣选出来，因此世人恨你们。

因为他们死后什么也带不走，再不能拥有荣华富贵。他们活着时自以为有福，人们都赞扬他们的成就，到头来他们还是要归到祖先那里，再也看不见光明。

“主人夸奖这个不义的管家精明。因为今世的儿女在处理世事方面比光明的儿女更精明。

然而，是上帝把美物充满他们的家；因此，我决不苟同他们的想法。

耶稣对他们说：“你们是从下面来的，我是从上面来的。你们属于这世界，我不属于这世界。

我已将你的道赐给他们，世人恨他们，因为他们像我一样不属于这个世界。

他的儿女再多也难逃杀戮，他的子孙永远吃不饱。他幸存的后人被瘟疫吞噬，生还的寡妇也不哀哭。尽管他堆积的银子多如尘沙，储存的衣服高若土堆，但义人将穿他储存的衣服，清白的人将分他堆积的银子。

它们当中哪个不知这是耶和华所为？

人生不过是幻影，劳碌奔波却一场空，积蓄财富却不知谁来享用。

为何恶人活着，得享长寿，势力强大？他们的儿孙围绕膝前，他们得见后代茁壮成长。他们家中平安无惧，他们不被上帝杖打。他们的公牛繁殖力强，他们的母牛从不掉胎。他们让孩童像羊群一样走到户外，尽情地欢跳。他们伴着铃鼓和竖琴歌唱，在笛声中欢喜不已。他们一生幸福，安然下到阴间。他们对上帝说，‘离开我们，我们不想学习你的道。全能者是谁，竟要我们事奉祂？向祂祷告有何益处？’

孩子们，你们属于上帝，你们已经胜过了那些假先知，因为在你们里面的圣灵比在世上运行的邪灵更有能力。他们属于世界，所以他们谈论的都是世俗的事，世人也听从他们。

“财主说，‘我的先祖啊，那么求你派拉撒路去我父亲家里，因为我有五个弟兄。让拉撒路去警告他们，以免他们也来到这痛苦的地方。’

因为他们的岁月一旦度尽，又怎会关心身后的家人？

强盗的帐篷太平，冒犯上帝、手捧神像的人安稳。

你们在世上奢侈享乐，在被宰杀的日子里，把自己养得肥肥胖胖。

寻它如寻银子，找它如找宝藏，

我看见狂傲的恶人亨通就心怀不平。他们一生平顺，健康强壮。他们不像别人受苦，不像世人遭难。他们把骄傲作项链戴在颈上，把暴力作外袍裹在身上。他们胖得眼睛凸出，心中充满罪恶。

“天国就像藏在地里的宝贝，有人发现了，就把它埋好，然后欢然变卖他所有的财产去买那块地。

看这些恶人，他们总是生活安逸，财富日增。
