縛其王以鏈、繫顯者以鐵索兮、

列國之王、繫以鐵索、貴顯之臣、囚以桎梏兮、

以縲絏拘其君王、以鐵索繫其貴臣、

世王被鏈索。冢臣加桎梏。

to bind their kings with fetters, their nobles with shackles of iron,

When Adoni-Bezek ran away, they chased him and captured him. Then they cut off his thumbs and big toes.Adoni-Bezek said,“ Seventy kings, with thumbs and big toes cut off, used to lick up food scraps under my table.
