靜候主好音。長夜豈無曙。一心惟盼主。指我當行路。

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.

In the morning let me hear about your faithful love, because I’ve put my trust in you. Show me the way I should live, because I trust you with my life.

Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.

Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you.

Yahweh, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says:“ I am Yahweh your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way that you should go.

God is within her. She shall not be moved. God will help her at dawn.

and when you turn to the right hand, and when you turn to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying,“ This is the way. Walk in it.”

Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding.In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Teach me your way, Yahweh. Lead me in a straight path, because of my enemies.

Yahweh will command his loving kindness in the daytime. In the night his song shall be with me: a prayer to the God of my life.

To you, Yahweh, I lift up my soul.My God, I have trusted in you. Don’t let me be shamed. Don’t let my enemies triumph over me.

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.

But I will sing of your strength. Yes, I will sing aloud of your loving kindness in the morning. For you have been my high tower, a refuge in the day of my distress.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.

For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning.

Satisfy us in the morning with your loving kindness, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

Bring joy to the soul of your servant, for to you, Lord, do I lift up my soul.

Your hands have made me and formed me. Give me understanding, that I may learn your commandments.

Let’s lift up our heart with our hands to God in the heavens.

Lead me, Yahweh, in your righteousness because of my enemies. Make your way straight before my face.

Give me understanding, and I will keep your law. Yes, I will obey it with my whole heart.

Let’s acknowledge Yahweh. Let’s press on to know Yahweh. As surely as the sun rises, Yahweh will appear. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rain that waters the earth.”

Jacob was left alone, and wrestled with a man there until the breaking of the day.When he saw that he didn’t prevail against him, the man touched the hollow of his thigh, and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was strained as he wrestled.The man said,“ Let me go, for the day breaks.” Jacob said,“ I won’t let you go unless you bless me.”He said to him,“ What is your name?” He said,“ Jacob”.He said,“ Your name will no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have fought with God and with men, and have prevailed.”Jacob asked him,“ Please tell me your name.” He said,“ Why is it that you ask what my name is?” He blessed him there.
