Can a corrupt throne be allied with you— a throne that brings on misery by its decrees?The wicked band together against the righteous and condemn the innocent to death.

Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes, for false witnesses rise up against me, spouting malicious accusations.

In his arrogance the wicked man hunts down the weak, who are caught in the schemes he devises.He boasts about the cravings of his heart; he blesses the greedy and reviles the Lord.

He thwarts the plans of the crafty, so that their hands achieve no success.He catches the wise in their craftiness, and the schemes of the wily are swept away.
