行惡者皆無知乎、噬我民如啖餅、不籲上帝兮、

維人作惡、懵然無知、橫噬我民、無異食餅、不向耶和華呼籲兮、

一切作惡者、果皆無知乎、彼眾吞食我民、猶如飲食、並不禱告主、

豈其作惡者。莫具纖屑知。何以不懷主。靦然食民脂。

Do all these evildoers know nothing? They devour my people as though eating bread; they never call on the Lord.

Do all these people who do evil know nothing? They eat up my people as if they were eating bread. They never call out to the Lord.

Have they no knowledge, all the evildoers who eat up my people as they eat bread and do not call upon the Lord?

Will those who do evil never learn? They eat up my people like bread and wouldn’t think of praying to the Lord.

Will evildoers never understand? They consume my people as they consume bread; they do not call on the LORD.

Do all the workers of injustice not know, Who devour my people as they eat bread, And do not call upon the Lord?

Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And do not call on the Lord?

Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And call not upon Jehovah?

Will evildoers never understand? They consume My people as they consume bread; they do not call on the Lord.

All those who behave wickedly do not understand– those who devour my people as if they were eating bread, and do not call out to the LORD.

Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and don’t call on Yahweh?

Pour out thy wrath upon the heathen that have not known thee, and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon thy name.

Pour out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not, and upon the families that call not on thy name: for they have eaten up Jacob, and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made his habitation desolate.

And[ there is] none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.

And even as they did not like to retain God in[ their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

When the wicked,[ even] mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.

Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,

Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God?

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people,[ even] a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise[ men] shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent[ men] shall be hid.

And none considereth in his heart, neither[ is there] knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten[ it]: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say,[ Is there] not a lie in my right hand?

They are all hot as an oven, and have devoured their judges; all their kings are fallen:[ there is] none among them that calleth unto me.

Understand, ye brutish among the people: and[ ye] fools, when will ye be wise?He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?

But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

Who hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones;Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.

Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye[ that are] escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god[ that] cannot save.

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come,[ and] set them on fire: for it[ is] a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he that formed them will shew them no favour.

Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because[ they have] no knowledge: and their honourable men[ are] famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.

What[ is] the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him?

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified[ him] not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
