I will not give sleep to my eyes Or slumber to my eyelids,

我不容我的眼睛睡觉，也不容我的眼目打盹；

我不容我的眼睛睡觉，也不容我的眼皮打盹；

我不容我的眼睛睡觉，也不容我的眼皮打盹；

我必不容我的眼睛睡觉，也不容我的眼睑打盹；

绝不允许我的眼睛睡觉，也不允许我的眼帘打盹——

我不容我的眼睛睡覺，也不容我的眼目打盹；

我不容我的眼睛睡覺，也不容我的眼皮打盹；

我不容我的眼睛睡覺，也不容我的眼皮打盹；

我必不容我的眼睛睡覺，也不容我的眼瞼打盹；

我必不容我的眼睡覺，不容我的眼皮打盹，

絕不允許我的眼睛睡覺，也不允許我的眼簾打盹——

不任我目寢睡、合睫而眠兮、

維余之目不遑假寐、不暇合膜兮、

必不閉目寢睡、亦不合睫安眠、

I will allow no sleep to my eyes or slumber to my eyelids,

I won’t let my eyes sleep. I won’t close my eyelids

I will not give sleep to my eyes or slumber to my eyelids,

I will not let my eyes sleep nor close my eyelids in slumber

I will not allow my eyes to sleep or my eyelids to slumber

I will not give sleep to my eyes Or slumber to my eyelids,

I will not give sleep to mine eyes, Or slumber to mine eyelids;

I will not allow my eyes to sleep or my eyelids to slumber

I will not give sleep to mine eyes,[ or] slumber to mine eyelids,

I will not allow my eyes to sleep, or my eyelids to slumber,

I will not give sleep to my eyes, or slumber to my eyelids;

Give no sleep to your eyes, Nor slumber to your eyelids.

Then she said,“ Sit still, my daughter, until you know how the matter will turn out; for the man will not rest until he has concluded the matter this day.”

Food was set before him to eat, but he said,“ I will not eat until I have told about my errand.” And he said,“ Speak on.”
