Why gaze with envy, you mountain peaks, at the mountain God desired for His dwelling? The Lord will live there forever!

Instead, you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God( the heavenly Jerusalem), to myriads of angels in festive gathering,

He chose instead the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion, which He loved.He built His sanctuary like the heights, like the earth that He established forever.

The Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

The Lord is great and highly praised in the city of our God. His holy mountain,rising splendidly, is the joy of the whole earth. Mount Zion on the slopes of the north is the city of the great King.God is known as a stronghold in its citadels.

God is known in Judah; His name is great in Israel.His tent is in Salem, His dwelling place in Zion.

What answer will be given to the messengers from that nation? The Lord has founded Zion, and His afflicted people find refuge in her.
