主耶和華歟、爾若注意罪愆、孰能卓立兮、

耶和華兮、若爾鑒察惡行、人難自立兮、

主若究察罪愆、主歟、何人能立、

天下之人。誰無罪尤。主若深究。孰能無憂。

If you, Lord, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?

Lord, suppose you kept a close watch on sins. Lord, who then wouldn’t be found guilty?

If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?

Lord, if you kept a record of our sins, who, O Lord, could ever survive?

LORD, if you kept an account of iniquities, Lord, who could stand?

If You, Lord, were to keep account of guilty deeds, Lord, who could stand?

If thou, Jehovah, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?

Yahweh, if You considered sins, Lord, who could stand?

If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

If you, O LORD, were to keep track of sins, O Lord, who could stand before you?

If you, Yah, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?

Do not enter into judgment with Your servant, For in Your sight no one living is righteous.

If I sin, then You mark me, And will not acquit me of my iniquity.

You, Yourself, are to be feared; And who may stand in Your presence When once You are angry?

For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference;for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

Though I were righteous, my own mouth would condemn me; Though I were blameless, it would prove me perverse.

So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them,“ He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.”And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground.Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

Who can stand before His indignation? And who can endure the fierceness of His anger? His fury is poured out like fire, And the rocks are thrown down by Him.

All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

“ But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire And like launderers’ soap.

“ Truly I know it is so, But how can a man be righteous before God?If one wished to contend with Him, He could not answer Him one time out of a thousand.

“ What is man, that he could be pure? And he who is born of a woman, that he could be righteous?
