耶和華說：「我要保護受欺壓的困苦人和哀歎的貧窮人，使他們如願以償。」

耶和華說：「因為困苦人所受的迫害和貧窮人的呻吟，我現在要挺身而起，把他們安置在他們渴望的穩妥之地。」

貧窮者屈抑、困乏者欷歔、耶和華曰、我必興起、如其所慕、置諸穩善之區、

維此貧民、受屈欷歔、耶和華曰、余必勃然而興、手援之兮、不使藐視於人斯。

主曰、貧苦人被虐、困窮人歎息、我將興起、救其脫於欺之之人、救其脫於欺之之人或作救彼慕救之人

此輩炫利口。自謂世無敵。脣舌我自主。誰得相干涉。

“ Because the poor are plundered and the needy groan, I will now arise,” says the Lord.“ I will protect them from those who malign them.”

The Lord says,“ The poor are being robbed. Those who are in need groan. So I will stand up to help them. I will keep them safe from those who tell lies about them.”

“ Because the poor are plundered, because the needy groan, I will now arise,” says the Lord;“ I will place him in the safety for which he longs.”

The Lord replies,“ I have seen violence done to the helpless, and I have heard the groans of the poor. Now I will rise up to rescue them, as they have longed for me to do.”

“ Because of the devastation of the needy and the groaning of the poor, I will now rise up,” says the LORD.“ I will provide safety for the one who longs for it.”

“ Because of the devastation of the poor, because of the groaning of the needy, Now I will arise,” says the Lord;“ I will put him in the safety for which he longs.”

“ For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, Now I will arise,” says the Lord;“ I will set him in the safety for which he yearns.”

Because of the oppression of the poor, because of the sighing of the needy, Now will I arise, saith Jehovah; I will set him in the safety he panteth for.

“ Because of the oppression of the afflicted and the groaning of the poor, I will now rise up,” says the Lord.“ I will put the one who longs for it in a safe place.”

For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set[ him] in safety[ from him that] puffeth at him.

“ Because of the violence done to the oppressed, because of the painful cries of the needy, I will spring into action,” says the LORD.“ I will provide the safety they so desperately desire.”

“ Because of the oppression of the weak and because of the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says Yahweh;“ I will set him in safety from those who malign him.”

我這可憐的人向祂呼求，祂就垂聽，救我脫離一切困境。

工人替你們收割莊稼，你們卻剋扣他們的工錢。那工錢發出不平的呼喊，工人的冤聲已經傳到萬軍之主的耳中了。

欺壓窮人等於侮辱造物主，憐憫貧弱就是尊敬造物主。

祂為受壓制的人伸冤，賜食物給饑餓的人，使被囚者得自由。耶和華叫瞎子看見，扶持被重擔所壓的人，祂喜愛義人。

上帝拯救窮苦人脫離惡人的中傷，脫離殘暴之徒的轄制，

你必免受惡毒的譭謗，災難來臨也不懼怕。

過了多年，埃及王死了。以色列人受盡奴役，就哀歎呼求，聲音傳到上帝那裡。上帝聽見他們的哀聲，顧念從前跟亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各所立的約，

耶和華啊，求你起來！上帝啊，求你舉手施罰，不要忘記無助的人！

耶和華說：「我現在要施展大能，我必受尊崇。

耶和華說：「我已經看見我子民在埃及所受的苦難，聽見了他們因監工的壓迫而發出的呼求。我知道他們的痛苦。我下來是要從埃及人手中救他們，帶他們離開那裡，到一個遼闊肥沃的奶蜜之鄉，就是現在迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人和耶布斯人居住的地方。現在，以色列人的呼求傳到我耳中，我也看到了埃及人怎樣壓迫他們。

於是，我又觀察日光之下的一切欺壓之事。我看見受欺壓的淚流滿面，無人安慰。因為欺壓者有權有勢，所以無人安慰他們。

我的仇敵啊，你們不要對我幸災樂禍！我雖跌倒，但必再爬起來；我雖坐在黑暗裡，但耶和華必做我的光。我得罪了耶和華，所以要忍受祂的懲罰，直到祂為我辯護，替我伸冤。祂必領我進入光明，我必親睹祂的公義。

他父親因肆意欺詐，掠奪同胞，多行不義，必自招滅亡。

欺壓貧窮困苦的人，搶奪財物，扣留債戶的抵押品，祭拜偶像，犯罪作惡，放債取利，這樣的人還能活著嗎？他必不能活。他作惡多端，必自取滅亡，抵償自己的血債。

這是萬軍之耶和華在埃及的記號和憑據。埃及人因受到欺壓就呼求耶和華，祂必差遣一位救主保護、拯救他們。

求你不要讓受壓迫的人羞愧而去。願貧窮困苦的人讚美你的名。上帝啊，求你起來維護自己，別忘記愚妄人怎樣整天嘲笑你。

他們凡事順利，對你的審判不屑一顧，對所有的仇敵嗤之以鼻。

不可仗勢剝削貧窮人，法庭上不可欺凌弱者，因為耶和華必為他們伸冤，奪去掠奪他們之人的性命。

若你在某地看見窮人受欺壓，公平正義被扭曲，不要震驚，因為官上有官，在眾官之上還有更高的官。

你為孤兒和受欺壓的人伸冤，使渺小的世人不能再恐嚇他們。

以色列人除掉了他們的外邦神像，轉而事奉耶和華。耶和華不忍再看以色列人受苦。

為何讓列邦說：「他們的上帝在哪裡？」求你讓我們親眼看見，也讓列邦都知道，你為自己被害的子民伸冤。求你垂聽被囚之人的哀歎，求你用大能的臂膀留住死囚的性命。
