我得行於寛廣之地、因我平日尋求主之命令、

優游聖道。恢恢綽綽。

I will lead a full and happy life, because I’ve tried to obey your rules.

and I shall walk in a wide place, for I have sought your precepts.

I will walk in freedom, for I have devoted myself to your commandments.

I will walk freely in an open place because I study your precepts.

And I will walk at liberty, For I seek Your precepts.

When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble.

But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it— not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it— they will be blessed in what they do.

Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me.

Even as he spoke, many believed in him.To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said,“ If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”They answered him,“ We are Abraham’s descendants and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?”Jesus replied,“ Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever.So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity— for“ people are slaves to whatever has mastered them.”

You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me,

I rejoice in your promise like one who finds great spoil.

My eyes stay open through the watches of the night, that I may meditate on your promises.

and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure,then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.

Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom,

An unfriendly person pursues selfish ends and against all sound judgment starts quarrels.

I am a stranger on earth; do not hide your commands from me.

I applied my mind to study and to explore by wisdom all that is done under the heavens. What a heavy burden God has laid on mankind!

“ The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free,

Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.

It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees.
