主歟、願我之呼籲達於主前、求主依主之言、賜我智慧、

願我呼籲。上達宸聰。依爾之言。命我明通。

Lord, may you hear my cry. Give me understanding, just as you said you would.

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.

indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding,and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure,then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.

Your statutes are always righteous; give me understanding that I may live.I call with all my heart; answer me, Lord, and I will obey your decrees.

May the Lord give you discretion and understanding when he puts you in command over Israel, so that you may keep the law of the Lord your God.

Give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may lead this people, for who is able to govern this great people of yours?”

The priests and the Levites stood to bless the people, and God heard them, for their prayer reached heaven, his holy dwelling place.

He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.
