但必有公義的太陽為你們這些敬畏我名的人升起，它的光芒有醫治的能力。你們必像欄中出來的牛犢一樣歡欣跳躍。

所羅門向耶和華獻上兩萬二千頭牛、十二萬隻羊作平安祭，王和以色列眾民為耶和華的殿舉行奉獻典禮。那天，因為耶和華殿前的銅壇太小，容不下燔祭、素祭和平安祭祭牲的脂肪，所羅門王就把殿前院子中間分別出來作聖潔之地，在那裡獻上燔祭、素祭和平安祭祭牲的脂肪。

眾人看見這情景，都俯伏在地高呼：「耶和華是上帝！耶和華是上帝！」

使你的公義如晨光照耀，你的仁義如日中天。

起來，發光吧！因為你的光已經來到，耶和華的榮耀已經照在你身上。

我得罪了耶和華，所以要忍受祂的懲罰，直到祂為我辯護，替我伸冤。祂必領我進入光明，我必親睹祂的公義。

求你恩待錫安，重建耶路撒冷的城牆。那時，你必悅納誠心獻上的祭物、燔祭和全牲燔祭，人們必把公牛獻在你的壇上。

以利亞走到眾人面前說：「你們三心二意要到什麼時候呢？如果耶和華是上帝，你們當跟從祂；如果巴力是上帝，你們就跟從他吧！」他們都默不作聲。

次日，他們向耶和華獻祭。他們代表全以色列獻上一千頭公牛、一千隻公綿羊、一千隻羊羔作燔祭，同時還獻上奠祭及許多其他祭。
