彼眾如蜂環繞我、皆必息滅如燒荊棘之火、我倚賴主名、必翦滅之、

萬民洶洶。勢如群蜂。我恃主名。驅之絕蹤。

They swarmed around me like bees, but they were consumed as quickly as burning thorns; in the name of the Lord I cut them down.

They attacked me like swarms of bees. But they were burned up as quickly as thorns in a fire. By the Lord’ s power I destroyed them.

They surrounded me like bees; they went out like a fire among thorns; in the name of the Lord I cut them off!

居山之亞摩哩人出、驅逐爾曹、勢若蜂擁、遂致敗績、自西耳山至於曷馬、

耶和華兮、拯救是施、聽爾所祈兮、予也歡然兮、建彼旌旆、頌讚上帝兮。

斯園也、我不厭棄、敵若荊棘、吾將芟除、焚之以火、

敵沉湎於酒、若荊棘叢雜、乾燥易焚。

束荊為炊、釜甑未熟、或青或枯、為大風吹去兮。

大闢曰、爾侮以色列族上帝之軍旅、爾來迎我、執利劍、用干戈、我來迎爾、恃萬有之主耶和華。

我王兮患難時、願雅各之上帝耶和華、眷顧爾、護禦爾兮、

籲上帝耶和華曰、爾欲援我、民之多寡、力之強弱、無不可以之克敵、我之上帝耶和華歟、求爾助我、蓋我賴爾名、禦斯有眾、願上帝耶和華、毋許人勝爾。耶和華擊古實人、使為亞撒猶大族所敗、而遁。

大闢問耶和華曰、非利士人、我當往攻之乎、爾其以彼付我手乎。耶和華曰、往哉、我必付彼於爾手。敵至巴勒比哩心、大闢擊之、曰、上帝破敵於我前、若水決而分流、故名其地曰、巴勒比哩心。

愚人之笑、如荊棘、為爨火所焚、莫非捕風也。

大闢詢上帝、上帝曰、爾勿往前、宜襲其後、在桑林相對之所。如聞步履之聲、出於桑杪、則當速戰、蓋上帝已先爾而行、擊非利士人軍旅、大闢遵上帝命而擊非利士人軍旅、自基遍至伽息。

猶大族耶路撒冷民歟、明日迎敵、爾毋與戰、成列以待、耶和華拯爾、毋畏葸、必蒙其祐。約沙法率猶大眾、耶路撒冷民、俯伏崇拜耶和華。利未人、哥轄、可喇、二族群起、大聲頌讚以色列族之上帝耶和華。○夙興往提哥亞之野、將行約沙法立而告之曰、猶大族耶路撒冷民、宜聽我言、當信爾之上帝耶和華、自可獲勝、信其先知、自得亨通。既與民議、使人禮服謳歌於軍前、頌讚曰、耶和華恆懷矜憫、當頌讚之。甫頌讚時、耶和華發伏兵、攻猶大之敵、使亞捫摩押二族、及西耳山人、互相攻擊。

是時先見者哈拿尼、覲猶大王亞撒、告之曰、因爾恃亞蘭王、不爾上帝耶和華是賴、故不克亞蘭軍。古實人、路庇人、軍勢浩大、車騎眾多、因爾恃耶和華、故耶和華使爾戰勝之。耶和華遍覽天下、見誠心從之者、則力庇焉。爾弗以之是賴、不智孰甚、嗣後戰鬥、靡有已時。

巍巍乎、我主耶和華之在寰宇乎。

匪類如荊棘、人不得執、故必推而去之、

如火焚於林、如焰燎於山兮、願爾追襲之、譬諸暴風、譬諸狂飆、使彼觳觫、

亞哈謝之見約藍而遇害、乃上帝所命、相見時、則偕約藍、往迓寧示子耶戶、昔耶和華所沐以膏、使滅亞哈全家者、其時耶戶罰亞哈家、遇猶大諸伯、與亞哈謝之猶子僕從、而殺之。
