“ Yahweh, when you went out of Seir, when you marched out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, the sky also dropped. Yes, the clouds dropped water.The mountains quaked Yahweh’s presence, even Sinai at the presence of Yahweh, the God of Israel.

He stood, and shook the earth. He looked, and made the nations tremble. The ancient mountains were crumbled. The age- old hills collapsed. His ways are eternal.

Was Yahweh displeased with the rivers? Was your anger against the rivers, or your wrath against the sea, that you rode on your horses, on your chariots of salvation?

Then the earth shook and trembled. The foundations also of the mountains quaked and were shaken, because he was angry.

Why do you look in envy, you rugged mountains, at the mountain where God chooses to reign? Yes, Yahweh will dwell there forever.

The mountains quake before him, and the hills melt away. The earth trembles at his presence, yes, the world, and all who dwell in it.

“ Surely every man walks like a shadow. Surely they busy themselves in vain. He heaps up, and doesn’t know who shall gather.

But the heavens that exist now and the earth, by the same word have been stored up for fire, being reserved against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.But don’t forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance.But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.Therefore since all these things will be destroyed like this, what kind of people ought you to be in holy living and godliness,
