從塵埃中高舉卑微之人、從糞土中提拔貧窮之人、

拯貧寒於糞壤兮。拔煢獨於泥中。

He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap;

He raises poor people up from the trash pile. He lifts needy people out of the ashes.

Yet he protected the needy from oppression, and cared for his families like a flock of sheep.

The LORD impoverishes and makes wealthy; he humbles and he exalts.He lifts the weak from the dust; he raises the poor from the ash heap to seat them with princes and to bestow on them an honored position. The foundations of the earth belong to the LORD, and he has placed the world on them.

Many of those who sleep in the dusty ground will awake– some to everlasting life, and others to shame and everlasting abhorrence.But the wise will shine like the brightness of the heavenly expanse. And those bringing many to righteousness will be like the stars forever and ever.

he sets the lowly on high, that those who mourn are raised to safety.

this is what the sovereign LORD says: Tear off the turban, take off the crown! Things must change! Exalt the lowly, bring down the proud!A total ruin I will make it! It will come to an end when the one arrives to whom I have assigned judgment.’

He has brought down the mighty from their thrones, and has lifted up those of lowly position;he has filled the hungry with good things, and has sent the rich away empty.

Listen, my dear brothers and sisters! Did not God choose the poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that he promised to those who love him?

“ So now, say this to my servant David:‘ This is what the LORD of hosts says: I took you from the pasture and from your work as a shepherd to make you leader of my people Israel.I was with you wherever you went, and I defeated all your enemies before you. Now I will make you as famous as the great men of the earth.

So he saves from the sword that comes from their mouth, even the poor from the hand of the powerful.Thus the poor have hope, and iniquity shuts its mouth.

He does not allow the wicked to live, but he gives justice to the poor.He does not take his eyes off the righteous; but with kings on the throne he seats the righteous and exalts them forever.

Your dead will come back to life; your corpses will rise up. Wake up and shout joyfully, you who live in the ground! For you will grow like plants drenched with the morning dew, and the earth will bring forth its dead spirits.

And this prefigured baptism, which now saves you– not the washing off of physical dirt but the pledge of a good conscience to God– through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,who went into heaven and is at the right hand of God with angels and authorities and powers subject to him.

For victory does not come from the east or west, or from the wilderness.For God is the judge! He brings one down and exalts another.

Job took a shard of broken pottery to scrape himself with while he was sitting among the ashes.

The roof of my mouth is as dry as a piece of pottery; my tongue sticks to my gums. You set me in the dust of death.

This power he exercised in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realmsfar above every rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.

David by foreseeing this spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that he was neither abandoned to Hades, nor did his body experience decay.This Jesus God raised up, and we are all witnesses of it.So then, exalted to the right hand of God, and having received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, he has poured out what you both see and hear.

Who has the king of Israel come out after? Who is it that you are pursuing? A dead dog? A single flea?
