他從塵土中興起貧弱者，從糞堆中高舉貧窮人，

舉貧窮於塵埃、擢匱乏於糞壤、

貧乏者流、處於塵埃、居於糞攘、主舉而升之兮、

從塵埃中高舉卑微之人、從糞土中提拔貧窮之人、

拯貧寒於糞壤兮。拔煢獨於泥中。

He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap;

He raises poor people up from the trash pile. He lifts needy people out of the ashes.

But He sets the needy securely on high, away from affliction, And makes his families like a flock.

The Lord makes poor and rich; He humbles, He also exalts.He raises the poor from the dust, He lifts the needy from the garbage heap To seat them with nobles, And He gives them a seat of honor as an inheritance; For the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, And He set the world on them.

And many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake, these to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting contempt.And those who have insight will shine like the glow of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.

So that He sets on high those who are lowly, And those who mourn are lifted to safety.

this is what the Lord God says:‘ Remove the turban and take off the crown; this will no longer be the same. Exalt that which is low, and humble that which is high.Ruins, ruins, ruins, I will make it! This also will be no longer until He comes whose right it is, and I will give it to Him.’

He has brought down rulers from their thrones, And has exalted those who were humble.He has filled the hungry with good things, And sent the rich away empty handed.

Listen, my beloved brothers and sisters: did God not choose the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?

Now then, this is what you shall say to My servant David:‘ This is what the Lord of armies says:“ I Myself took you from the pasture, from following the sheep, to be leader over My people Israel.And I have been with you wherever you have gone, and have eliminated all your enemies from you; I will also make a great name for you, like the names of the great men who are on the earth.

But He saves from the sword of their mouth, And the poor from the hand of the strong.So the helpless has hope, And injustice has shut its mouth.

He does not keep the wicked alive, But gives justice to the afflicted.He does not withdraw His eyes from the righteous, But with kings on the throne He has seated them forever, and they are exalted.

Your dead will live; Their corpses will rise. You who lie in the dust, awake and shout for joy, For your dew is as the dew of the dawn, And the earth will give birth to the departed spirits.

Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you— not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience— through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,who is at the right hand of God, having gone into heaven, after angels and authorities and powers had been subjected to Him.

For not from the east, nor from the west, Nor from the desert comes exaltation;But God is the Judge; He puts down one and exalts another.

All the trees of the field will know that I am the Lord; I bring down the high tree, exalt the low tree, dry up the green tree, and make the dry tree flourish. I am the Lord; I have spoken, and I will perform it.”

And Job took a piece of pottery to scrape himself while he was sitting in the ashes.

My strength is dried up like a piece of pottery, And my tongue clings to my jaws; And You lay me in the dust of death.

which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.

he looked ahead and spoke of the resurrection of the Christ, that He was neither abandoned to Hades, nor did His flesh suffer decay.It is this Jesus whom God raised up, a fact to which we are all witnesses.Therefore, since He has been exalted at the right hand of God, and has received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, He has poured out this which you both see and hear.

After whom has the king of Israel gone out? Whom are you pursuing? A dead dog, a single flea?
