任憑人謗詛。但求主輔翼。若輩終承羞。爾僕應怡悅。

While they curse, may you bless; may those who attack me be put to shame, but may your servant rejoice.

They may curse me. But may you bless me. May those who attack me be put to shame. But may I be filled with joy.

Let them curse, but you will bless! They arise and are put to shame, but your servant will be glad!

你們現在也是憂愁，但我要再見到你們，你們的心就會有喜樂了；這喜樂沒有人能奪去。

他愛咒罵，咒罵就臨到他；他不喜愛祝福，祝福就遠離他！

神對巴蘭說：「你不可跟他們去，也不可詛咒這百姓，因為他們是蒙福的。」

所以，主耶和華如此說：「看哪，我的僕人必得吃，你們卻飢餓；看哪，我的僕人必得喝，你們卻乾渴；看哪，我的僕人必歡喜，你們卻蒙羞。看哪，我的僕人因心中喜樂而歡呼，你們卻因心裏悲痛而哀哭，因靈裏憂傷而哀號。你們必留下自己的名給我選民指着賭咒：主耶和華必殺你們，另起別名稱呼他的僕人。在地上為自己求福的，必憑真實的神求福；在地上起誓的，必指着真實的神起誓。因為從前的患難已被遺忘，從我眼前消逝。」

看哪，我奉命祝福；神賜福，我不能扭轉。

絕沒有法術可以傷雅各，沒有占卜可以害以色列。現在，人論及雅各，論及以色列必說：『神成就了何等的事啊！』

王說：「洗魯雅的兒子，我與你們有何相干呢？他這樣咒罵是因耶和華吩咐他：『你要咒罵大衛。』如此，誰敢說：『你為甚麼這樣做呢？』」大衛又對亞比篩和眾臣僕說：「看哪，我親生的兒子尚且尋索我的性命，何況現在這便雅憫人呢？由他咒罵吧！因為這是耶和華吩咐他的。或者耶和華見我遭難，因我今日被這人咒罵而向我施恩。」於是大衛和他的人在路上走。示每走在大衛對面的山坡，一面走一面咒罵，又向他扔石頭，揚起塵土。

仰望我們信心的創始成終者耶穌，他因那擺在前面的喜樂，輕看羞辱，忍受了十字架的苦難，如今已坐在神寶座的右邊。
