“ I, I alone, am the one who wipes out your wrongdoings for My own sake, And I will not remember your sins.

He walked in the way of the house of Ahab and did evil in the sight of the Lord, like the house of Ahab, because he was a son in law of the house of Ahab.

When Ahaziah the king of Judah saw this, he fled by way of the garden house. But Jehu pursued him and said,“ Shoot him too, in the chariot.” So they shot him at the ascent of Gur, which is at Ibleam. But he fled to Megiddo and died there.

When Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and eliminated all the royal children.
