He said,“ If you will carefully obey the Lord your God, do what is right in His eyes, pay attention to His commands, and keep all His statutes, I will not inflict any illnesses on you that I inflicted on the Egyptians. For I am Yahweh who heals you.”

But He was pierced because of our transgressions, crushed because of our iniquities; punishment for our peace was on Him, and we are healed by His wounds.

Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved, for You are my praise.

Lord my God, I cried to You for help, and You healed me.

The Lord will sustain him on his sickbed; You will heal him on the bed where he lies.I said,“ Lord, be gracious to me; heal me, for I have sinned against You.”

But so you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,” He told the paralytic,“ I tell you: get up, pick up your mat, and go home.”

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Then Moses cried out to the Lord,“ God, please heal her!”

“ It is I who sweep away your transgressions for My own sake and remember your sins no more.

The prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will restore him to health; if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

Seeing their faith, Jesus told the paralytic,“ Son, your sins are forgiven.”

Therefore I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven; that’s why she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little.”Then He said to her,“ Your sins are forgiven.”

Fools suffered affliction because of their rebellious ways and their sins.They loathed all food and came near the gates of death.Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble; He saved them from their distress.He sent His word and healed them; He rescued them from the Pit.Let them give thanks to the Lord for His faithful love and His wonderful works for all humanity.Let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving and announce His works with shouts of joy.

And He will redeem Israel from all its sins.

David responded to Nathan,“ I have sinned against the Lord.” Then Nathan replied to David,“ The Lord has taken away your sin; you will not die.

Just then some men brought to Him a paralytic lying on a mat. Seeing their faith, Jesus told the paralytic,“ Have courage, son, your sins are forgiven.”At this, some of the scribes said among themselves,“ He’s blaspheming!”But perceiving their thoughts, Jesus said,“ Why are you thinking evil things in your hearts?For which is easier: to say,‘ Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say,‘ Get up and walk’?But so you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”— then He told the paralytic,“ Get up, pick up your mat, and go home.”

and none there will say,“ I am sick.” The people who dwell there will be forgiven their iniquity.

We have redemption in Him through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace

The people then came to Moses and said,“ We have sinned by speaking against the Lord and against you. Intercede with the Lord so that He will take the snakes away from us.” And Moses interceded for the people.Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Make a snake image and mount it on a pole. When anyone who is bitten looks at it, he will recover.”So Moses made a bronze snake and mounted it on a pole. Whenever someone was bitten, and he looked at the bronze snake, he recovered.

Be gracious to me, God, according to Your faithful love; according to Your abundant compassion, blot out my rebellion.Wash away my guilt and cleanse me from my sin.For I am conscious of my rebellion, and my sin is always before me.

How joyful is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered!How joyful is the man the Lord does not charge with sin and in whose spirit is no deceit!When I kept silent, my bones became brittle from my groaning all day long.For day and night Your hand was heavy on me; my strength was drained as in the summer’s heat. SelahThen I acknowledged my sin to You and did not conceal my iniquity. I said,“ I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and You took away the guilt of my sin. Selah

Lord, do not punish me in Your anger or discipline me in Your wrath.For Your arrows have sunk into me, and Your hand has pressed down on me.There is no health in my body because of Your indignation; there is no strength in my bones because of my sin.For my sins have flooded over my head; they are a burden too heavy for me to bear.My wounds are foul and festering because of my foolishness.I am bent over and brought low; all day long I go around in mourning.For my loins are full of burning pain, and there is no health in my body.

maintaining faithful love to a thousand generations, forgiving wrongdoing, rebellion, and sin. But He will not leave the guilty unpunished, bringing the consequences of the fathers’ wrongdoing on the children and grandchildren to the third and fourth generation.

“ Lethal poison has been poured into him, and he won’t rise again from where he lies!”
